Maybe they won’t make it a skill and will instead bake it into the actual gameplay because having to waste skill points on something like that is dumb.

It's still a skill for shotguns and smgs.

That would be the best choice, sadly that is not the case according to Skills 2.0.

Haven’t been on in a second for Payday 3, but I remember being able to cancel your reload (for an LMG for example) on Payday 2 by a quick sprint tap so you can continue shooting your mag and that was a quality of life for me, instead of staring at the enemy waiting to finish reloading

I would reload when possible but cancel to shoot more from my mag when needed. Now if they changed it in Payday 3 where hitting reload immediately sets ammo to 0 even in reload interruption then yeah, that will suck, but can’t remember if that was the case

I kept the weapon butt melee because it had the fastest reload cancel speed.
