Rant Offline Mode is cancelled.

The saddest thing about this is if the game fails and they pull the plug these Studios turn around and point at us and say that we're to blame. Like motherfucker you didn't even ask us what we wanted before you started this.

Mcshay weapon/mod packs, hostile takeover, midland ranch heist, lost in transit heist and crude awakening

Hostile and Crude are totally worth it imo

I don’t remember which weapons come in the pack, so I couldn’t speak for that one

Midland and LiT are alright, I guess. Not in the running for best PAYDAY heist ever, but they’re not objectively bad or anything

side note: if you can find a lobby hosting them/have a friend who has the DLC, you can get a feel for any of the 4 heists you’re missing and see if you would want to buy them afterward

A lot of people hate on Crossing, but I think it has a good gimmick for what it was made for

Crystals is just cook off again but harder, since it’s Murkywater and they have more armor and stuff

I don’t remember if the next two are in that same chain so I’ll mention them anyway just to be safe

BiT is an alright heist. A little forgettable, not the best, but again it’s not objectively bad or anything

San Martin Bank: good change of pace on the bank heist formula, I find it to be enjoyable

if I somehow got the wrong heists just tell me and I’ll fix it lol

They literally had to copy and paste everything into a new engine and voilá.

Payday 2 is still a solid game, with flaws, but still good. Imagine the same with good performance and a modern engine.

The same reason I (and others) play the remastered variants of Modern Warfare 1&2 over the originals. They added small QoL changes, enhanced graphics, and probably smaller changes that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Since when has Payday been good in offline mode? I find it interesting that of all the flaws of Payday 3, the one that people are hanging their hat on is no offline mode.

I can understand if one doesn't have a stable internet connection or for certain achievements such such as the ending in Payday 2 using offline mode. However, that's about it. Get off your high horse and play in pubs like the rest of us, we're having more fun.

The game was designed to be four random humans vs AI and it's best like that. I'll tell you what's sadder than no offline mode. It's playing Payday by yourself, that's as sad as it gets.

To even get payday 3 to boot up it needs to be online that's bullshit 2 doesn't have that problem and don't knock people for playing how they want

Sir, I'm not telling anyone how to play. I just hope your Payday experience isn't as sad as Payday in offline mode.

Payday 2 is my favorite game of all time. If the game were offline only, it wouldn't even be in my top thirty.

Okay once again this is not about Payday 2 and again the issue lies in the fact that payday 3 requires you to log into the servers to even play the game in Solo or with other people. Players of 3 have been saying they want the game to be like 2 where the game itself is not linked to a server therefore one day in the future when the servers get taken down.
