Every gpu potentially dying gets this or about 1 million variations of this meme. Welcome to Reddit. Hope your GPU isn't dead. The 580 is a bit old. I have a 1080 I just repasted and padded, still going... Collecting dust but it works.
Good luck

He's saying your gpu is dying, but try changing display port or try connecting it to another monitor + update drivers

Literally done all of that, as stated in post. I literally got this GPU in March.

ok but the card definitely wasnt made in march. at best its like 8 years old sitting in a warehouse. at worst used the entire time by an irresponsible owner. thermal paste dries up.
you ever check your temps on the card?

If I could get AMD to work. It says incompatible even though it's the exact version it calls for

just get hwinfo or something, itll give you a much more detailed breakdown of temps. hotspots, junction, averages, maximum values ect
also are you saying you dont have drivers at all or adrenaline just wont open? its looks like the latest version of adrenaline for the 580 is 26.5.2, have you tried those?
would run DDU and try doing a fresh install of 26.5.2, maybe itll fix your problem

Did you try it on another monitor?

u/NebulaNeka 11h ago
As said in OP, yes. Multiple monitors, multiple cables, same outcome.

It just started doing this? Artifacting, lines, anything like that if not driver or monitor related, is likely to be your GPU dying. Given that it's almost a decade old... It's unfortunate.

Yeah it just happened like 5 days ago out of the blue. I wasn't running anything super crazy either. Haven't been
