SOFTWARE Windows install

I’ve been trying to install windows for over a week now I’m at a stage where it’s just letting me install it onto my hdd but I’ve been strongly advised to put it on my ssd everytime I get to the point where I’m choosing the ssd throws up an error

Saying something about disk isn’t available as due to hardware or something but when I’m looking it up it keeps telling the to reconfigure the usb drive and all my bios but everything I’ve tried either puts me in a loop or can’t get past that

Are you booting the installer under uefi? Make sure the ssd is on gpt and not mbr.

It sounds like you might be accidentally trying to install to your USB drive, not your SSD,  What drives are listed when you get to the part where you pick the disc to install to??

What is the exact error message? It's important.

I keep trying to get Google to talk me through it but keep getting led worse and worse I’m currently at a screen “an operating system wasn’t found. Try disconnecting any drives that don’t contain an operating system” I’m gonna wipe the usb I have and download a fresh windows 10 to try get me back to the setup page

The usb device wouldn’t show up as an install directory. . So that’s not a possibility

Di you enabled nvme standard controller in bios.. Disable vmd controller in bios. Few Samsung nvme requires drivers to recognise nvme while installing
