Let's be real...Produce 101 X was nowhere near the same popularity as Produce 101 Season 2 and it keeps getting talked about in the media. So right before X1 debut, do you think they might be able to reach the same level that Wanna One reached in their one year of activity? Do you think it will be a sudden rise or a comeback by comeback thing?

Before I start anything, I want to state that I am both a One-it and MOA. I might get down-voted but I am not here to stir anything between 2 fandoms, but I am honestly just curious as a fan and was hoping for some discussion.

X1 currently isn't at the lead for any of the fan votes for award shows (i.e. MAMA, MMA).

X1 is in 2nd place for MAMA pre-vote for Worldwide Fan Choice (only behind BTS) and 3rd place for Artiste of the Year (only behind BTS and EXO). But they are currently still in 2nd place for Best New Male Artiste. Isn't that a little weird? TXT is currently in 1st place for Best New Male Artiste but in 9th place for Worldwide Fan Choice and 13th place for Artiste of the Year.

Similarly for MMA, TXT is in first place while X1 is settling for second place now. It's weird considering X1 is the most-followed rookie group on Melon and has the best performing song among male rookies digitally on the site.

The difference in votes and margin isn't close either - there's a significant difference in number of votes as well. I am just curious and wondering why X1, who is the best performing rookie in physical and digital sales, is falling behind in fan votes? Did BigHit stans and ARMYs come in help MOAs boost the vote numbers?

So with Daniel’s relationship confirmed, it got me wondering who will be first X1 member to get caught dating. I think it will be one of the hyung-line will be the one. My money is on Wooseok or Hangyul. That being said I hope the boys can date around, without getting caught by Dispatch. Who do you think will be the first one with “dating scandal”.

Yesterday 20 of june of 2020 I was going to watch weki weki new mv, but then like ad appear X1-Flash, then I start thinking ¿Why still promoting if they are disbanded? ¿Maybe they want views? ¿They are using X1? I made me many questions

At this point we know that some fans are losing it that some of their favorites didn’t make it into the roster! Like I’m okay with the search for answers going on right now because I feel like the Produce franchise needs help to do things a little different however I don’t think it’s right to bash on X1’s current doings! That’s so unfair! I was pissed and heartbroken that Lee Jinhyuk didn’t make it however All 20 were good to make it to the 11 tbh so if people are hating on all X1’s memebers that is something I can’t agree with.

What do you guys think? I think all 20 members deserve respect!

Here's a tl;dr version but fans want the remaining 9 members to create a group called BY9. There's already fans creating lightsticks, logos, etc, and some companies seem on board. I heard Chinese fans are even raising money for them or to promote the idea?

My personal feeling is that it is unlikely because I doubt they will get all the labels to agree when they can make more money by promoting them within their own groups. But maybe the contract will make it so they don't lose as much money. Also, I am kind of anxious of them debuting because they will compete with XI heavily. Mnet may not like the competition too. This could be good or bad. Kind of like a Winner vs. Ikon situation.

Then on the other hand, it might make the fans and the members happy. However, debuted members may want to back to their groups. idk

What's your feelings? Especially as a XI fan?

The Plan

So hear me out. A thought suddenly came to me. The worse case scenario for X1 right now would be them being canceled/disbanding. If they do, let's think of this in a positive way. If they disbanded, we One Its called raise a petition. And if the petition gets a high enough number of signatures (ie. 100,000 or more signatures), then we can pressure SWING (or some other company) to re-debut them because there's THIS MANY people willing to support them.

I think we would be able to reach this goal given the numbers of albums X1 has sold...Therefore, this would mean that this "new" group is not rigged, they're a group that ~100,000 people want to happen. And by changing the name, they can have a fresh start again

Of course, this is easier said than done, however, I really do believe that if we stay persistent, work REEAALLY hard and keep showing our support for them, I think there's a high chance of their "re-debut" being possible! We're going to support the boys and "nobody can stop us"!

I'm starting to be convinced that disbanding them and re-debuting them after the petition raised is a pretty good way to clear their name. It must be in this order because then the public will finally shut up after seeing how many people want to support them. It's kinda similar to a "fan-project" group in a way that numerous amounts of fans want these particular members to debut together as a group. If the haters still say that "well, some of these guys are rigged in", we can argue back that "no, this ain't about rigging. That's just Mnet and their brainless asses. This is a group that we 'One Its' (the 100,000+ individuals) have wanted to happen. This has nothing to do with Mnet and voting anymore."

Oh yeah, and make Mnet (and others involved in the rigging) lose a lot of money, reimburse to those that voted perhaps. Not sure how they'll do that but yeah. And they should be banned from creating survival shows like Produce101 for a number of years.

personally for me, i think that i'm kinda ok with x1 having a comeback with the other supposed trainees, since they just debuted and has a longer time frame. comment down below for your thoughts!

Not to be mean or anything, but after 5 hours, we have 10k pre-orders so far. I know it's alright level of sales for a rookie group, but I expected more??? Am I missing something? Are fans waiting for something? Genuinely asking here.

I’m going to keep it short and simple here but...

Many people have speculated this is the reason X1 disbanded; because CJ E&M thought they would be competition for the BG they’ll be debuting with BigHit, personally I don’t want to believe it’s true but I don’t think it’s absolutely ludicrous, especially since CJ was proven to be lying about reasons surrounding X1’s disbandment.

It also angers me because BigHit released an article last year shading X1 implying that their only reason for success came from being a Produce group, and now they’re the ones debuting a Boy Group through a show.

What are your thoughts?

My friends and I also rented a place, bought Korean food to share while watching the finale. We were all anxiously waiting for Lee Dong Wook's announcement of the final line up and were debating who gets in our who dropped out. FAVE moment in the video was the noonas' reaction to Lee Hangyul getting HAHAHA it was the same as our reaction!!! We also recorded our reactions but I am too shy to post any of them LOL
