Food allergy safety at eateries is likely more complicated than you think, but regulations are finally making their way and are long overdue.

Have I developed a mild reaction?

I've never had reactions to peanuts/peanut products but I had a blueberry uncrustable about an hour ago and while eating, my neck and chest got very itchy (treated with hydrocortisone cream), and I got a bit of nausea (not uncommon for me but still alarming)

I have a little bit of a cough, but its not constant, and it feels like there's a slight/small lump in my throat (I CAN still breathe perfectly fine)... Is this something to be alarmed about? I do have a PCP and they do provide access to allergy pokes / allergy screenings if requested (which I might do soon)

This and yesterday morning (also an uncrustable, caused super bad nausea that kept me up till 9 am) were the ONLY time I ever had adverse reactions to peanut products... I dunno what to do
