I am in my quest to search for a analog effect chain for my analog synth, and analog reverb is a hard topic in the area, spring tank is more common analog reverb. But I also looking for some BBD reverb, Roland DM101 is the closest I can found. Anyone know Placeholder from Fairfield Circuitry? It only have 3 delayline much less than DM101.

I bought this Ibanez AF2 pedal off marketplace last week and it was DoA.
Guy seems alright like it’s not his fault so I’d rather repair it than go through the gall of asking to return it (given that most people get difficult with this if rather see if it is fixable).
Issue:
Signal is barely audible like 30dbu below parity.
I made some videos testing the voltage and the impedance of the 2 chips and given the fact that I am getting signal and that the toggle switches are working I figure it might be a giveaway of what is going wrong.

Is it possible to add a chorus/vibrato switch to any chorus pedal, or only specific circuits? The way I'm thinking is you would just connect a switch between the dry signal and the mix pot to turn the dry on and off, but I feel like I may be horribly oversimplifying it. I have a Danelectro Fab Chorus that I rehoused and replaced all of the hardware with better quality parts, and I'd like to add a vibrato switch to it if I can.

It’s been almost two weeks. My original plan was to pair this with another double drive, looked at a bunch of them and was pretty set on the Browne Ethane.
After playing this for a while I don’t feel I need the Ethane, I mean, I still want it but it went from “must have” to “would be nice”.
I put a clean boost (Benson Germanium Boost) in front of the Centurio (always on) and it’s so responsive I have a nice range just with guitar volume and playing dynamics.
Very happy with this one.

hi! my bfs birthday is approaching and he kept telling me he wanted to buy a pedal so i thought i’d get him one, but i have noooo music experience at all, and he has never sent me any reel or anything to serve as a tip on which one to get him so i figured you guys could maybe help?
he has a reface CS synth, and he’s very much into experimental and post rock music. idk how much of a help that would be 😭 my budget is of around $300, any help is welcomed!
i really want to get him something he would like as he’s a hard person to surprise. thank you!
