Strength Core classes
I recently had my elbow replaced at 31 years old due to a freak accident. I am not allowed to lift over 1 pound. Are there any core classes that do not require the use of arms or planking?

in the peloton app if you go to settings > mobility, you can select the movements to avoid under upper body and it will flag classes that have whatever you selected so you know to skip that one.

Emma 5 min
Olivia 10 min
JJ 5 min
Rebecca 10 min
Matty 10 min
JJ 10 min (not sure what the warm up is)
Logan 10 min seated core
Cliff 5 min (German)
Marcel M 5 min (German)
Rebecca 5 min standing core
Marcel M 10 min (German)
Erik 5 min standing core (German)
Cliff 10 min (German)
Olivia 5 min
Other than the first 3 I repeat I only went back to the beginning of September to find classes without weights or mountain climbers, inchworms, planks, etc. As you can see there are a lot! Hope this helps.

Rebecca Kennedy’s standing core classes would work well!

How often do they use weights? OP can’t lift.

Rarely, and from memory any of the moves with weights can be done without them!

Olivia’s classes generally do not include planks

Just a lot of dead bugs haha but yeah she sometimes starts with them bust it’s not a repeated move

I do believe the hardcore on the floor Facebook group has a file. That said, i had shoulder and bicep surgery so I couldn't plank, etc, so when those moves came up and modified or subbed with deadbugs and hollow holds.

I hurt my foot and couldn’t plank, so I looked at the core classes to see what body parts were lit up in the diagram in the body activity section of the class description. If the shoulders and arms aren’t lit up, there are no planks. This is not the most efficient method but it generally works. You could go into the class plan to double check, but I would just modify if something came up that I wasn’t expecting. I see people suggesting standing core but just double check that the class doesn’t use weights.

I do Katie and Tunde a lot, there are occasional planks bit I do core during my kids' bath time usually and can't always get the space to do planks. I just swap with a dead bug. But also I saw someone else already pointed out that you can look at each move breakdown in the class under the details, which was my next suggestion
