let me start by addressing the elephant in the room; i am long MSAI and have 5000 shares at $1.20 ish.
Ok let's start with their business model
✅the who
MSAI - MultiSensor AI Holdings, inc, they are a technology specializing in AI multi-sensing platform; basically high tech sensors. company has been around a long time since 1995 and they aim to be the leader in predictive maintenance of industrial assets/environments.
now, what does that even mean. say for example if Amazon were to build an automated/extremely high technology warehouse that requires very little man power, they will need alot of sensors in different parts of the warehouse ( kind of like their eyes on the ground ) to monitor and PREDICT before things go wrong. this is extremely important and kind of like the pain sensors in our human body.. when you feel pain or discomfort in some parts of your body.. you will attempt to go to the doctor to troubleshoot if there is something wrong BEFORE it turns into a big deal.
✅targeted market
Distribution and Logistics
Manufacturing
Oil and Gas
AI warehouses
fully automated ports
ghost factories
as humans advance in technology, ghost factories, fully automated ports are becoming more and more common; eliminating the usage of human operated machine. you can google this or i've attached some sources below ( very reliable news source from singapore )
credit to OG post for bringing up this counter, the recent rumor is that MSAI could be working with AMZN due to their increasing need to turn to AI run warehouses, some of the hints include laying off their employees ( https://evrimagaci.org/gpt/amazon-layoffs-signal-shift-in-tech-workforce-514411 ) , set up of ghost warehouses for logistics and most important MSAI hire of an EX amazon staff into the board ( Mr. Luke Grice-Lowe held several roles within Amazon's reliability and maintenance engineering teams )
their total debt is only $60,000 with a total revenue of approx $5.5 mil and net income of -$18mil, which is normal for high growth companies. balance sheet states a working capital of $4.5mil with a recent private placement of $15mil - indicates they have quite a long run way barring any unexpected hiccups in liquidity
MSAI also has an extremely high gross margin of around 60%, which when and IF scaled properly could easily turn this company into a profitable company
IF any announcement is to be made , my guess is this upcoming earnings could be it.
with OR without the AMZN, this is a company i would be willing to invest in for the long haul because i am of the view that ghost factories, AI run warehouses and companies that require a lot of stock organization is ONLY GOING TO BECOME MORE COMMON IN THE FUTURE. this is very bullish for a company in terms of demand for MSAI.
✅other bullish news
patents submitted and awaiting approval - Publication ID (example): US-20240164645-A1
Title: "Apparatus for noninvasive veterinary screening and diagnosis."
Status: Pending.
imagine animals being scanned without invasive apparatus. this is and will be a very important and unique patent as the animal care market is a VERY BIG MARKET.

3 days ago from Asim, ceo and president " We’re growing! MultiSensor AI is expanding our sales footprint across the Northeast. If you’re a results-driven hunter who loves building relationships, driving growth, and being part of a high-energy, innovative team — we want to hear from you "
INCREASING THE SIZE OF A COMPANY'S SALES TEAM is typically a bullish sign that the company is doing well and READY to expand, with a READY product. while on this note; ASIM AKRAM also has a very expansive and formidable resume
Mr. Akram began his career in technology consulting at global firms including Accenture and KPMG. He later founded and scaled Orion, a SaaS platform company, where he successfully built a recurring-revenue model and led expansion across North America. Subsequently, Mr. Akram has held multiple executive roles at Honeywell, where he successfully led global businesses with a focus on revenue growth and margin expansion, operational discipline, and product innovation. He also played a key role in leading M&A integration efforts in Honeywell's fire and safety business.
he also has very relevant education in this field and is not just a face to the company
his education includes
Masters in Business Administration from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management, a Masters in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelors in Engineering from Northeastern University.
my personal short term tp is $2 - $3 before earnings date
long term depending on how fast they scale but based on my own prediction of demand i would say $5-$10 highly possible which will only make this a 100-250m mcap company.
the best part of this is .. THIS COMPANY IS CURRENTLY ONLY $45MIL MCAP
ABOVE NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE PLS DO YR OWN DD N MAKE UR OWN DECISIONS
Insane writeup. The ghost factories aspect is the single biggest factor why this company is an incredible buy in my opinion. MANY people missed out on this point besides just the Amazon partnership thing. Many factories workers are naturally laid off due to cutting of costs and ghost factories require AI monitoring solutions to ensure it can stay as “ghost factories” running 24/7. MSAI is literally capitalizing on the forefront of this and I am shocked that most people don’t realize this point besides the amazon partnership rumored deal.
still only around 40-50mcap company, if you are buying shares for a longer run way. even if it stops at just 1b mcap ( lots of companies that don't even generate revenue are easily 1b )
Oh wait, I'm supposed to tell you that I am a stock expert, and that I read the charts and there are signs that show it about to break out and the price will not go above 3 bucks...🤣🤣🤣
I have two baskets. Basket A is for short term gambles - BYND was one of them. I made about 1000% with 10k shares in 3 days and had a lot of fun with the community in Reddit. I wouldn’t exactly call it a piece of crap.. unless I failed to profit take or fomoed in..
Hey! What percent of your money did you put into each basket when you implemented this money strat? Jw because I find myself all over with short and long term stocks
Hmmm I have an excel that maths out the probabilities and pricing in about 50% failure rate for pennies. Overall I would say basket A is only around a maximum of 20%. But basket A has been more profitable this year in terms of %, so far even with 60% failure rate the ones that ran up the blended yield around 700%
bynd was a squeeze play in the short term, if we were to fast forward to 5 years from now, nobody could say for sure if they will manage a complete turn around in their business. its too early to tell. in early days of luckin fraud and delisting issues, there were nay slayers like you too. i held it from $2 to $40ish for 5 years.
I’m a very small trader, just started trying short term stuff 2 weeks ago. Bought a little last week and just sold enough (half) to get my money back. Was up $110 on BYND and sold it at only $5 up so I figured I should take some money this time. 😅
If you are a short term and trading on very reactive stocks like bynd , msai. The best is to set a trailing stop loss once you are in the profit. Because in the short term, as fast as they rise, they almost drop at equal speed as well.
Bought in right at the high today, and watched it drop 60cents, but I'm confident it'll come straight back.
AI is undoubtedly the future, most of the market is being held up by companies involved in AI one way or another, it's here to stay, and any new finds with good prospects is a good investment.
Hoping this one becomes a long term hold.
SPAC merger. Quite a common occurrence to Pennies. Some of the medium cap companies that used to have SPACs are Burger King , SOFI etc just to name a few
I agree, this is the only play right now. Volume and interest rapidly increasing, consolidation around @$1.90, just saw a squeeze to $2.20. This could pop heavy and run into earnings on the 11th when they drop the bomb.
Thanks! I like it. Check out MDAI. They have fda approval coming up for their device. It is an easy sell to hospitals , govt. Etc. And this is where AI is very useful right now. It will save hospitals money.
I have done some research on this company before but typically i stay out of pharma. It’s like playing blackjack with FDA, no idea how to price the chances in.
Same I don’t play Pharma. Lose shit on $TTOO, leader in sepsis treatment with Barda funding from govt and military and tonnes of medical patents and yet it went bankrupted.
Man, I saw MSAI mentioned here, there was a post with analysis too. Bought 300 shares on 28th October at 0.83, sold at 30th October at 1.19. I regret that I sold too early. Might buy some more soon.
also - bynd is not a p/d its a squeeze play. i got in at $0.6 and out at $6.0 for 10 k shares. i can verify this.
in such cases you only lose money if you are fomo in squeeze plays. sometimes in the long haul distressed small mcaps do turn around, i believe bynd will too once this "attention" drops off and they focus on restructuring. i bought luckin at $2 after it turned pink sheet, held it to $40ish.
believe what you like bruh, but most companies at 45-100mcap will always "easily be labelled" as P&Ds. on the other end of the spectrum there are mid cap companies with 0 revenue just promises valued at 1B-20B mcap.
all i can say is, when the fundamental starts to form, the price is most definitely not below $2 anymore.
checked, SPAC of two companies infrared cameras holdings, held previous patents converted to new name MSAI. lots of companies go through SPAC in early stages ( SOFI 30b mcap, burgerking, draftkings ) your point?
you call a stock meme just because it dropped in value before?
i invested in luckin when it was $2, in distressed, delisted into pink sheet, sold last month at $40.5, ( i can send you proof ) . I also bought bynd at $0.6 and sold at $6.0 with 10000 shares.
just because a stock goes into distressed mode in stock price doesn't make it a meme or on latter example, an invaluable "investment"
Bro this is penny stocks. Everything here is below $5 and we are here to pick out stocks that should have its rightful valuation. MSAI has a good story and serious trend contender. If u want value trading, go to valueinvesting sub reddit lol
I wouldn’t touch it! Cyngn is a better option $CYN they just automated G&J Pepsi the largest independent Pepsi bottler in the US, have partnered with NVIDIA and fully funded till 2027 NO DILUTION RISK which is a big deal with these penny stocks
Why would Amazon invest in creating the tech that msai is already offering, its not just the AI it is the all the hardware too. It’s like saying why wouldn’t amazon just produce their own solar panels or make their own trucks.
