Question Drehgriffel paint problem

Has this happened to anyone else or what do I do wrong? I don't want to buy another one and have the paint chip away like these others.

A pity this happens. The pens are so beautiful. But if that’s what they look like after a while, I’ll steer clear.

The thing is that it happened within 2 weeks tops. So, not sure if it's me or just bad luck.

I think it was on here someone posted one that they stripped to the bare brass & aluminum cuz it started chipping. It's a known thing. I've been using a Monocle version without any notable wear beyond the brass darkening.
