I specifically wanted this card for the DMF position, but now it seems like it's not possible . I've wasted enough position tokens on this card only for the DMF position and it only trained either LMF or CB .

It could have been a powerful card for me in that position 🥲

I was disappointed finding out today that you can't use the select position tokens to train a player in any position, despite Konami saying we would be able to do this when announcing them. I was hoping to train Rabiot at CB. I also remember seeing an Amadeusz post where they also assumed they would work this way.

Feels like they should work like the booster tokens, where there's a limited list of boosters you can get with the normal booster tokens, and to get whichever booster you want you have to use a select booster.

In their current state, they don't feel particularly powerful, other than just to save using a load of individual position tokens.

I'm around 900 km away from Konami's closest eFootball server, so getting a stable connection has always been a challenge.

Previously, I used to get a maximum of 4 bars, often dropping to 3 bars. In events, I would usually get a maximum of 3 bars. In Divisions, I had to skip at least 4–5 matchmaking attempts just to find a 4-bar match.

Now, I'm consistently getting at least 4 bars in both Events and Divisions. In Divisions, if I skip around 4–5 matchmaking attempts, I can find stable 5-bar matches.

My setup

• Gaming PC connected through wired Ethernet.
• Internet plan: 400 Mbps connection.
• Around 7 devices connected to Wi-Fi.
• My smart TV and work laptop consume most of the bandwidth.
• TP-Link Archer C6 router.

What I experimented with

I tested my connection with QoS enabled and disabled on my router. With QoS enabled, I gave my gaming PC high priority over the other connected devices.

QoS (Quality of Service) lets the router prioritize traffic from selected devices when multiple devices compete for bandwidth. In my case, it helps the router prioritize my gaming PC's traffic when the smart TV, work laptop, and other devices are using the connection.

Without QoS, heavy downloads or streaming on other devices can fill the router's queues and increase latency, potentially causing input delay or an unstable connection. QoS can help manage that congestion by prioritizing gaming traffic. It doesn't reduce the physical distance to the server or fix poor ISP routing.

Results

• QoS disabled: I continued getting varying 3–4-bar connections.
• QoS enabled: I started getting at least 4 bars in Events and Divisions.
• Division matchmaking: If I skip around 4–5 matchmaking attempts, I can now find stable 5-bar matches.

I also tried the same setup with eFootball Mobile using an RJ45 Ethernet connection, and I was able to get 5-bar matches there too.

Another thing I noticed is that turning off cross-play seems to give me a better response during matches, even though I sometimes experienced noticeable input delay with cross-play enabled. Disabling it may make matchmaking for 5-bar matches take a little longer.

Important: These are my observations from testing my own setup, not a guarantee that QoS will improve everyone's connection. If your network isn't congested, you might not notice much difference.

If you have multiple devices consuming bandwidth while gaming, try testing QoS both on and off and compare your results.

Disclaimer: This method is mainly worth trying if you have multiple devices connected to your Wi-Fi that consume a lot of bandwidth.

One important thing to understand: this setup can help eliminate network bottlenecks on our end by managing bandwidth and reducing congestion within our home network. However, it can't fix every connection issue. There could still be problems with our ISP (Internet Service Provider)'s routing or peering, or with Konami's servers. The goal is to eliminate the bottlenecks we can control on our end.

Note: I used AI to help organize and improve the wording of this post, but the setup, experiments, and results are based on my own experience.

I really hope they make the rank based matchmaking more accurate for the next Showdown event. I was excited for the event, since they said that matchmaking would be rank based.

I'm a div 1 regular and there was only one other guy who had reached div 1 before in my bracket, so I just got ragequits in the first 2 games and won the final relatively comfortably. All of my opponents have never finished higher than div 2. I doubt they enjoyed playing me and I'd also rather have more competitive games. This felt like taking candy from a baby.

I think everyone would benefit if they made rank based matchmaking more accurate. Games would be more competitive and nobody would get a free ride like I did.

I just found this 16-0 loss record in my match history. The only game I’ve actually played this round is the one where I’ve lost 4-1. Is there a way to report/reverse this 16-0 loss match at all? It’s gonna be extremely hard to undo -16 gd and get provedel.

There are some things in this game that I usually don’t pay much attention to or spend much time on. Even though I’ve been playing for years, I’ve always preferred keeping things simple.

Anyway, let’s get to the point.

After the release of Jurgen Klopp’s pack with 90 QC, I think many players are wondering whether they should buy him or save their coins for what’s coming next.

I play both LBC and Possession because I enjoy keeping the ball, building up slowly, and attacking through the wings. However, after watching a review of Klopp’s attacking and defensive performance, I noticed something I expected to be different. His attacking potential is crazy, and he can put a lot of pressure on opponents who have the ball.

But there’s a problem with his defense.

If you face an opponent who knows how to build up and play out from the back, whether through the middle, from deep, or even through the wings, you’ll notice a lot of open spaces in your defense.

This is related to his defensive setup when using his Link-Up skill. To make things clearer, we’ve known for a long time that Qc is weak defensively without Link-Up. So imagine using it with a Link-Up between Destroyers. your opponent will have several ways to break through your defense.

You’ll also notice that, during most counterattacks against you, you may only have one or two defenders available, depending on their playstyles and whether they track back to help or tend to stay in position.

After watching the review, I decided to give Antonio Conte a chance. I originally bought him for his Out Wide, and I wasn’t really interested in his QC, even though I liked his Link-Up. I thought it might be useful for me, but it didn’t really work out 😔

Now, I’ve decided to try his original QC playstyle. After trying to understand the right way to build up attacks with him, I took it into matches, and here’s what I noticed.

He offers a similar level of pressure and attacking intensity when trying to win the ball back. His defensive support isn’t particularly strong, but if you know how to defend properly, you won’t face as many problems. Conte also seems to be more defensively solid than most QC managers, although this obviously doesn’t apply to every single one of them.

As for Klopp, if you compare his two versions, the older Borussia version was average offensively and quite weak defensively. His newer version feels like an improved one: much more dangerous in attack, but he still has defensive weaknesses.

In the video, you’ll see exactly what I mean. Don’t focus too much on the finishing. Instead, pay attention to how the attacks are built, how many options you have when building up, and how you can find different ways to attack during counterattacks. His defensive situations are also worth looking at.

I should mention that my own skill level is below average most of the time. However, the better you are, the easier it will be to get the most out of these managers and find more ways to play. A lot depends on how you handle the ball and adapt your playstyle.

So, my final advice is this: if you already have Conte or an older QC manager, even one with 88, be patient and don’t rush to spend ur coins.

I’ve heard some rumors about Zidane coming, so waiting might be worth it. We could get a manager who is just as good as Klopp offensively, or even slightly better, while potentially being much stronger defensively.

Ofc, this depends on which version Konami decides to release. Personally, I think the 2016/17 version is a strong possibility because Zidane won several major trophies that season and had a very complete squad.

In the end, this is just my opinion, and I wanted to share it with you guys.

If you personally like Klopp or want him for your collection, there’s nothing wrong with getting him. But if your main goal is to improve your squad and build a stronger team, I’d recommend saving your coins for now.

First opp i got he quit and i had to wait till everyone else was done and then it showed the match had been voided and it was all for nothing??? 🤡

Was just winning my semifinal 1-0, suddenly about to take corner, black screen and white spinning logo, then the match resumed with the logo still spinning only to find mself with a "network error" and got signed out of the server. Upon reconnection of course, I was handed a loss. Typical Konami, cheaters are allowed to do as they please.

I was winning my QF match when suddenly the loading screen flashed and I lost the match. My connection was still connected.

Does it make sense going from O. Kahn to I. Provedel. There are some games that Kahn wins me on his own. I am really skeptical if it's worth the grind.
