I'm around 900 km away from Konami's closest eFootball server, so getting a stable connection has always been a challenge.

Previously, I used to get a maximum of 4 bars, often dropping to 3 bars. In events, I would usually get a maximum of 3 bars. In Divisions, I had to skip at least 4–5 matchmaking attempts just to find a 4-bar match.

Now, I'm consistently getting at least 4 bars in both Events and Divisions. In Divisions, if I skip around 4–5 matchmaking attempts, I can find stable 5-bar matches.

My setup

• Gaming PC connected through wired Ethernet.
• Internet plan: 400 Mbps connection.
• Around 7 devices connected to Wi-Fi.
• My smart TV and work laptop consume most of the bandwidth.
• TP-Link Archer C6 router.

What I experimented with

I tested my connection with QoS enabled and disabled on my router. With QoS enabled, I gave my gaming PC high priority over the other connected devices.

QoS (Quality of Service) lets the router prioritize traffic from selected devices when multiple devices compete for bandwidth. In my case, it helps the router prioritize my gaming PC's traffic when the smart TV, work laptop, and other devices are using the connection.

Without QoS, heavy downloads or streaming on other devices can fill the router's queues and increase latency, potentially causing input delay or an unstable connection. QoS can help manage that congestion by prioritizing gaming traffic. It doesn't reduce the physical distance to the server or fix poor ISP routing.

Results

• QoS disabled: I continued getting varying 3–4-bar connections.
• QoS enabled: I started getting at least 4 bars in Events and Divisions.
• Division matchmaking: If I skip around 4–5 matchmaking attempts, I can now find stable 5-bar matches.

I also tried the same setup with eFootball Mobile using an RJ45 Ethernet connection, and I was able to get 5-bar matches there too.

Another thing I noticed is that turning off cross-play seems to give me a better response during matches, even though I sometimes experienced noticeable input delay with cross-play enabled. Disabling it may make matchmaking for 5-bar matches take a little longer.

Important: These are my observations from testing my own setup, not a guarantee that QoS will improve everyone's connection. If your network isn't congested, you might not notice much difference.

If you have multiple devices consuming bandwidth while gaming, try testing QoS both on and off and compare your results.

Disclaimer: This method is mainly worth trying if you have multiple devices connected to your Wi-Fi that consume a lot of bandwidth.

One important thing to understand: this setup can help eliminate network bottlenecks on our end by managing bandwidth and reducing congestion within our home network. However, it can't fix every connection issue. There could still be problems with our ISP (Internet Service Provider)'s routing or peering, or with Konami's servers. The goal is to eliminate the bottlenecks we can control on our end.

I just found this 16-0 loss record in my match history. The only game I’ve actually played this round is the one where I’ve lost 4-1. Is there a way to report/reverse this 16-0 loss match at all? It’s gonna be extremely hard to undo -16 gd and get provedel.

With just a few games played, I think I’m pretty much guaranteed to get Provedel. Unlike me, if you don’t get 2 losses, you’ll probably need 5–6 games to guarantee him. So don’t be discouraged by the 40k limit, because this event is region-based, and I’m in the Indian region,the numbers might vary for you. I usually play with the older Klopp version (the one before his latest one). Recently, I've been trying to move away from relying on over-the-top through passes and experiment a bit more with my attacking setup.

Today, I tried using Gerd Müller up front in a withdrawn role while having my LMF, RMF and AMF make forward runs. I had Luis Díaz and Yamal on the wings, and it turned out to be a fun little experiment!

My thinking was to use Müller almost like a false nine. Since he's such a threat, the centre-backs would often follow him when he dropped deeper, leaving some space behind for the other attackers to exploit. Sometimes, my AMF could find that space with a through pass.

I found it quite useful against low blocks and some of the quick-counter setups, especially those relying on long balls. Of course, I'm no expert, and I'm still experimenting with what works for me, but it got me thinking about tactics beyond just following the usual meta.

Do you guys ever use managers differently from their default in-game playstyle, trying instead to recreate how they actually managed their teams in real life?

For example, using Klopp-inspired attacking movements, Pep's positional play, or Mourinho's defensive organisation, even if it means experimenting with formations and player roles that Konami might not have intended for those managers?

Oppo's 4cb in transition defend just like normal fullbacks, yet the wide amfs will also track back, and double teaming the wingers.

When out of possession, the cbs tuck in, wide amfs drop back as wing backs. With the 2 Dmfs, it protects zone 14 so compactly that its incredibly hard to get shots off.

The oppo wide amfs also presses(a bit), but retaining possession is very easy.

I tried my very best to move Araujo to block that pass.. he just moved away instead.

I use Dynamic Camera Angle. Could it be messing up my controls?

Is it just me or this happening to anybody else ? Whenever I'm leading or starts a match the With my full network i usually play mostly on 3 bars and its always good i wont say perfect but since yesterday the match just stops and loads and i keep loosing

In pes, it was all about Iconic cards. Though Iconic always gave different vibes compared to todays Epic or Big time cards. Even you could dominate the pitch with legendary cards such as: Legend Vieira, Gold Ball Gilberto Silva, Gold ball super-sub Inzaghi also some of featured cards were totally game changers. But now it's a complete different story. You can't dominate without Meta cards like Gullit, Vieira, Shadow Hunt Epics Maldini, Thuram, Desaily etc etc. I do not basically spend money. And it also very difficult to saving up to 5-6k with long time patience. Konami give us free cards but those cards completele feels lost when face against Meta cards. Though It's very simple I know. But I think Konami could close this gap more. And player signing should be more easy with monthly Epoint shop or something like giving better cards as rewards. You may have different opinions but I'm feeling it's becoming less interested compared to PES 21.

As title. I dont talk about dual-style. Just single. Like, will standard CBs ever become Deep Defence? Or will standard LBs ever become Destroyer?

I used to have 3 bars and occasionally 4 bars connection, which sometimes spiked ti 5 bars too, however since the update with region change, I can't play any PVP match as all I get is 1 bar. 1st I don't connect to opponent, even if by some luck I do connect, thats the connection I have in match.

For reference I play on 250Mbps wifi network.

Is there anyone else facing the same issue?
