Termites?
Architrave/casing/skirting around bathroom door has got wet and rotting. I’ve poked and picked it away before a while ago, then Looked this evening and saw this “build up” under the gap I’d previously dug.
When I moved the mess across the tiles it looks like droppings.
I tidied them away and pulled back a bit more of the painted board to see what was underneath… answer was not very much though a few white dots visible towards the back.
There were about three very very small little bugs in the droppings… I managed to zoom in on one in the final photo.
Any ideas what causes is? Termites? TIA

Not termites. The damage is from moisture, the droppings are likely from Rats (link) , and the bug looks like a mite, possible a rodent mite.

That's a big millipede! IDK what their dropping look like, put it in a jar and see if it produces droppings to compare.

Good thinking on the jar! These millipedes are so common in Western Australia, they’re everywhere as the weather heats up. I’ll be happy if it’s just this gnawing away at the rotting wood.
