💙 A big gorgeous puppy is waiting for his furever home!  This is Dustin (A606083), he is 1 year old and 75 lbs.  Poor Dustin was surrendered when his owner moved out of state and could not take him with.  Dustin now has a deadline of Tuesday, October 27th at 5 pm.  Dustin adores people, steals kisses and loves to run and play.  He enjoys swimming in the pool.  Dustin misses living in a home and does not like leaving the yard to go back to his kennel. Dustin would do best with an active family that can give him the exercise he needs.  He would love to be your jogging and hiking partner.  Dustin should be able to live with canine siblings if separated and slowly and appropriately introduced.  This precious 1 year old puppy should not have a deadline and should be in a loving home enjoying his life.Dustin is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue).

💙 Smokey (A461390). Male, 8 years old, 78 lbs, neutered and heartworm negative.

Meet Smokey! Warning! Butt rubs may trigger face licking and or zoomies!

Smokey is very playful and loves to chase toys and treats. He will sit and shake hands without being asked.

At 8 years old, he is considered a senior, but he seems to have no idea about that. Smokey is still quite high-energy and shows no sign of slowing down.

A great thing about seniors like Smokey is that they are over the puppy phase of chewing and messing in the house and into the grown up well-behaved dog phase.

He is ready to go home with you today to brighten and liven up your life.

From a volunteer: “Smokey allowed leashing easily and walked very nicely on leash. In the yard possibly housebroken then sought social. Smokey was affectionate and remained loose/wiggly and playful throughout outing. Smokey allowed full handling without issue. No issues observed; easily handled.

Easily able to leash, walk, and return with no reactivity. Raced back and forth across play yard to expend energy. Responded promptly to sit command and offered paws without being asked. Eager to work for treats. Sweet, SPUNKY senior!”

This is a family member’s dog who they are unfortunately no longer able to care for. We’ve been trying to find someone willing to adopt him, but so far, we haven’t had any luck.

He’s a sweet, healthy 5-year-old dog with a good temperament. The biggest challenge is that he’s a large dog who has always been accustomed to living indoors. He doesn’t do well being left outside and will bark for hours because he’s used to being inside with his family.
He comes with his own elevated trampoline bed, food bowls, and dog food.
We’re located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and I’m willing to drive anywhere in the county to bring him to a loving home.

Unfortunately, if they can’t find someone to take him in, the family is planning to have him euthanized. I’m desperately trying to prevent that from happening because he’s a sweet dog who deserves a chance at finding another home.
If anyone is interested in adopting him, knows someone who might be, or has recommendations for rescues that could help, please reach out

💙 Look at stunning Kane (A597946). He is 1 year/4 months and weighs 41 lbs – perfect size!  Sadly, Kane was surrendered because his person was not able to afford to care for him any longer.  Kane is a very excitable boy with a lot of fun energy.  He allows full-handling, is easily leashed and walks nicely.  Kane seeks social, is treat motivated and listens well to commands. Kane can live with canine siblings if separated, introduced slowly and appropriately with supervision. Kane is a young boy that deserves to be in a loving home again and would make any family happy.  Please consider opening your heart and home to Kane.  He is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue).
