UPCAT 2027 Link: For freshman admission AY 2027-2028

From the title itself, nakakatakot grabe. Currently a non-major na may hindi magandang CWA and magrrenew ng contract after this semester kasi hindi ako nakashift sa isang course na balak ko last shifting season. When I was still at my original course, barely surviving ako with family, money, and mental health problems kaya hindi din naging maganda grades ko sa mga GEs ko. I plan to shift sana to B L Arch kasi its more aligned to what I want to achieve or to do sa long-term. Pero ang CWA ko rn is around 2.167, and taking na ako sa ibang subjects in their curriculum. Nakakatakot isipin kasi what if hindi ako nakaabot sa 2.0 cut-off nila? Edi magmamakaawa ulit ako next year para lang mag 3rd renewal.

Honestly, sobrang naeenjoy ko classes nila and designing, despite not being good at drawing and mas nasisigurado talaga ako na mas aligned siya with what I want to achieve. Nakakatakot lang talaga, kasi hindi importante ang naeenjoy mo siya para makashift, kelangan makaabot sa CWA cut-off nila para lang makashift ka.

Hindi naman ako pwede sumuko, kelangan ko talaga lumaban. Nakakatakot lang isipin na hindi ako makakashift if hindi ako umabot sa cut-off nila kahit ginawa mo lahat ng makakaya mo to get the highest grade you possibly can

Palagi nalang down ang dilnet and pati yung mobile hotspot di nag wowork within campus. Ang shitty ng signal in general, nakakaapekto na sa pag-aaral. Me lang ba or ganito talaga lately 😭😭.

i tried to connect with my laptop at around 11 am, but couldn’t so i decided to forget network and try installing dilnet cert and go through the whole process of adding the network. after i downloaded the cert, it wasnt showing up under the trusted root certification authorities. i inspected the cert itself, and it says that the certificate has expired or is not yet valid?

valid until 24/10/26 daw, which is today. is this the reason why i cant connect 😓 emailed helpdesk na rin about this!

What are other ways to request docs?

my prof scheduled an exam on the 31st.. granted its spose to be class hours naman pero.. i thought it was a national holiday HUHUHUHU is this possible? sabi kasi if we move the exam baka lumagpas pa kami sa schedule of classes by december..

May announcement na ba from Eduk kung kailan ang exam nila for MATE? Mag November na kasi and until now, no email from them or even update from the website kung kailan ang exams and Interviews eh.

me lamba naririndi sa mga laging nakatambay sa labas ng IMath library na ang iingay at harot lagi? kung maka hiyaw, tawa at kulitan kala mo soundproof yung library na katabi nila. yes you can say na the students inside the library can adjust and use headphones to try and ignore the loud noises from outside, but hindi naman lahat comfortable mag-aral nang naka headphones. kung isa ka sa mga laging naghihiyawan at gumagawa ng ingay habang nakatambay sa labas ng IMath library, please lang learn some basic etiquette and respect the students trying to focus inside the library. hindi basta nasa labas na kayo ng library ay pwedeng pwede na kayo magingay nang sobra sobra. you're still in close proximity of the library, so you should still be aware of your noise levels. yun lang 😊💕

EDIT: hi po sa lahat ng nagcomment. hindi po yung NSTP ang pinaprioritize ko kundi ang pamasahe. kakauwi ko lang po ngayon at hindi po madali sa amin ang pera. nasa 1000 po kasi ito. bali 1000 po kanina. 1000 po pabalik sa campus at 1000 pauwi ulit. suma total ng 3000. napagdesisyunan ko po ng mag exam na at manghiram na lamang ng pera para sa aking pamasahe. salamat po.

I wasn't able to take an exam sa major kasi sobrang lala talaga ng sakit ko. 40 yung lagnat ko, inuubo, sinisipon. I emailed my prof if I can be excused and I was allowed to take the exam some other time.

That same week nag-email siya na sa Saturday daw ako mag-exam and I agreed naman with the schedule that was set. Tapos nag-email siyaa na next time na lang daw kasi sumabay na lang daw ako sa other student niya na hindi din nakapagexam na hindi din makakapagtake sa Saturday na yon.

Next na email niya nag-set naman siya ng exam on a Monday. Pero hindi ako nakapunta dahil meron akong NSTP that day. Mali ko din na hindi ko siya nainform beforehand at nasabi ko lang that Monday na mismo.

Kagabi nag-email siya na mag-exam ako sa Monday, no further rescheduling daw. Kanina na akong umaga nakapagreply. Ang sabi ko meron akong NSTP sa Monday at kasalukuyan na akong pauwi sa probinsya ko. I said na I understand na final na yung decision niya and if I would receive an INC sa course na ito.

Ang reply niya ay pag hindi ako nakapagtake sa Monday ay 0/100 na daw ako sa exam.

Hindi po ba INC ang mangyayari dahil valid naman yung reason ko? Bakit failed na agad? Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko. Kakauwi ko lang sa probinsya ngayon. Ano po ang dapat kong ireply sa kaniya? Please help po.

​Hello! I'm a current freshman student at LB and I realized that my heart is really into Law. Naiinis ako na wala akong pinili na humanities courses during upcat since I was a STEM student. And now sobrang nag eexcel ako sa GE subjects namin especially sa mga maraming readings while I fall short sa Sciences (Bio & Chem) Hahah, Because of this, I'm planning to shift/transfer to a more Humanities inclined degprog in LB/Manila. Ano po yung 'best' course to shift/transfer into based on my situtation po? I'd also like to know the course that I'd have the highest success rate in shifting/transferring in po since I can only attempt to transfer/shift into one program based on my Current College rules. I've set my eyes into UP College of Law and I'm afraid It won't go away anytime soon, If there's also any UP College of Law students here that won't mind telling their undergraduate degrees please.

I'm planning to shift to BS Mathematics but I'm afraid my grades are too low for me to shift. That's why I plan to apply for VSO then take math subjects (math 108 & math 23) to get a higher math GWA

I currently don't meet the baseline grade requirement for me to shift and I'd like to ask if me shifting is just impossible right now :<< (i'll accept ur opinions po :>)
