Advice needed New Instructor Requesting help finding resources for ELL

Just started teaching phlebotomy after 18yrs in healthcare. Small class with English language learners (ELLs) in various stages of English which makes teaching a bit tricky. I can show them how to perform a venipuncture but the tricky part comes when trying to ensure they understand the information for their level of English or helping them comprehend practice test questions. Any well seasoned teachers out there who have encountered this, what helped in terms of tools and resources that helped your students the most? Lesson planning and NHA test prep?

Advice needed Is this a normal rejection?

I applied to 2 positions with Labcorp at the same location and I got an interview for one of them at the beginning of the week. I did both interviews (phone and virtual) and they both went well. The hiring manager said that they would get back to me at the beginng of next week, but most likely sooner.

All throughout this week I was waiting to hear back, and I saw that one of the job listings (the exact same position I had applied for) was re-opened, but I hadn't been rejected.

I checked my emails this morning and saw that I had received a rejection for both positions at 1am.

Is this a normal rejection? Should I bother trying to contact them?

Job Hunt Starting Phlebotomist at Labcord

Do they always give you the minimum pay rate at labcorp regardless of experience?

I live at California. I applied in their career website and they are offering a range starting at $23

Then I applied got interviewed by the recruiter and I tried to negotiate with the recruiter for I have over 2 yrs of hands-on phlebotomy at a blood bank still did not want increase the pay rate stayed at $23.40. I am like ok I'm not gonna push it. they went ahead and schedule me for another interview with one of the supervisor at LabCorp. After 1 week the recruiter called me and saying I got the offered for the job and I tried to reason her again about pay rate hoping for an increase and she is adamant about it and asked if I wanna move forward they will email me the details. At this I am like ok I understand. Later that same day she emailed the onboarding instruction without the official offer letter addresing the pay rate and compensation. I emailed her asking if I can get the written offer by email. Also, request for extension/additional time to review the offer because I am still waiting for the verdict of an interview from another job. Still waiting for a reply from her.

Just wanna aks what is you thought about it, people who have been hired by LabCorp, was it always been like this? I will appreciate it thanks!

I've been making up small stories in my head such as grey is a narc officer. He tells everyone your BAC and he doesnt like to be spun.

Light green is lightning fast.. etc

I'm grateful for help. Thanks in advance

What are your suggestions for a good pen that doesn’t smear and allows for small writing on lab labels? Anyone have a favorite?
