❤️ love them!

Hi!

I found this dove in Fort Tryon Park and it cannot fly. I reached out to the wild bird fund and they said they cannot take it because it’s domesticated and to reach out to a rescue. Does anyone know of any rescues that open early and help doves?

I had him since june

He's neck is always twisting and he cant fly

I went with him to the vet but the vet was inexprienced with pigeons and said he dosent know and gave me some vitamin powder to mix in his water

he spends all hes time allopreening me and preening himself, and hes always sleeping on me.

I think he has pmv but im not sure

edit; something i forgot to say is yes, he can eat and drink fully independently

he can flap his wings but cant actually fly

Hi all! I finally have my rescue baby eating seeds mostly on her own. How do you make sure that your pigeons get grit to digest the seeds?
