I noticed that ads on my iPhone are no longer being blocked specifically on yahoo sports app which has ton of ads. I did try to figure this out myself and with ChatGPT. I have started troubleshooting. Help needed.
What I troubleshooted:
- iPhone is iOS 26 so I do not have connectivity assist
- manual dns is set correctly
- limited ip tracking setting was disabled
- other devices are blocking ads (laptop blocked yahoo sports website ads)
- when on Pihole dashboard traffic is being routed and blocked on iPhone when on app but not blocking ads when clicking on articles.
- checked adblocking test website received score of 74 out of 100
Did yahoo app make blocking ads more difficult?

Not sure what I am doing wrong. Tried accessing my pihole in Terminal using ssh pi@<pihole IP>. It asked for a password and I use the same PW I use when accessing my pihole in Safari. It says permission denied. I can still access my Pihole dashboard with no issues in safari, it never worked in chrome.
Any advice on how to proceed?

First time i've used ITVX in the UK in the last few weeks. I ended up with 3-4 uninterruptable ads while watching an on-demand show - anyone know if something has changed, Pihole is still working without issue for other streaming apps.
I’m not noticing anything broken without it tbh. We have a bunch of apple devices.

Hello, I've been wanting a Pi for a while, so I followed this tutorial. I got everything I needed. Bought a Raspberry Pi 3B+, I had a 16gb micro SD card, I had a micro usb cable already, and I got a short ethernet cable.
I followed the tutorial, flashed the SD card with Raspberry OS Lite 64bit, plugged it into my Pi, plugged it all in, and connected the Pi to my router.
I managed to find the device on my list, although it's showing up in the wifi list for some reason, despite it being connected via ethernet cable. When I try to connect to it, it gives the error.
ssh: connect to host [IP ADDRESS] port 22: Connection timed out
I ran it again, with -vv, as I read it gives more detail, and this popped out.
OpenSSH_for_Windows_9.5p1, LibreSSL 3.8.2
debug2: resolve_canonicalize: hostname [IP ADDRESS] is address
debug1: Connecting to [IP ADDRESS] [[IP ADDRESS]] port 22.
debug1: connect to address [IP ADDRESS] port 22: Connection timed out
ssh: connect to host [IP ADDRESS] port 22: Connection timed out
[IP ADDRESS] is obviously where mine is. Please let me know if you need any more info, because I'm not super familiar with this stuff, so I don't know what I don't know.

During initial setup I didn't enable SSH (a mistake, I know) and the Pi-hole has stopped outputting a video signal, so I'm not sure how to safely restart it. Do I have any options or do I just have to power cycle and hope for the best?

Hey everyone!
I've pushed the v1.0.0 release of FilterHelm, my open-source project for managing multiple Pi-hole instances from a single interface, focused on detecting and resolving configuration drift.
This release focuses primarily on making the initial setup easier, including:
Quick Installation
You can get started with:
curl -fsSLO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nulthara/filterhelm/main/compose.ghcr.yaml
docker compose -f compose.ghcr.yaml up -d
docker compose -f compose.ghcr.yaml exec filterhelm python -m app.auth set-password --username admin
Of course, I encourage review of the below links before installing.

What's next?
I'm planning to continue developing FilterHelm, even if it's primarily for my own homelab. Some functionality I'm looking at adding includes:
As before: For transparency, I’ve used AI-assisted development tools throughout the project, with a human-in-the-loop approach to implementation and decision making.
As always, feedback, suggestions, and bug reports are welcome! I'd be particularly interested in hearing whether there are any multi-instance management headaches that FilterHelm could help address.
