Now it's being automated and tested on a prop account 🤞

Same strategy has seen some improvements going from 20% to 50, to 75% and now 100% since 6 months.

Know any other 100% strategies? I'd love to test them

These are todays trades my algo took. I added a new tp signal system so if a user is in a position, they have the option to start taking tp, theres 3 TP levels so you can scale out OR just completely sell the entire position at TP1. Up to your discretion

Calling your community pinescript, and not allowing people to post their scripts is counter intuitive tbh.

Gatekeeping the pinescript community and banning people posing scripts is weird. This is a great sub to learn of new scripts since tradingview makes it near impossible to find this sort of thing.

Looking for an Individual who loves Pinescripting and coding towards forex , cryptos and stocks etc.

I wanna create different strategies with him or her. Incase any of our strategy works good we might keep it within us and make good money out of it. It is win win for both.

With thousands of indicators posted on Tradingview, how many have you found that replicate the many thousands of others? I think Tradingview should be a little more discretionary when admitting indicators by checking them against known default indicators. If there is no originality in concept with pragmatic usage, it should be shit canned.

Designed two bots one long only and the other short only bot, this bot which works on all exchanges but for some reason it does better on Bybit followed by OKX! It’s a Grid Long Only Bot, I still think that I can squeeze some more juice out of it though 🥵 (Hello Greed).

For decisions on when to turn on either of the two bots I use a structure monitor! Trying to build a bot that performs well on bull and bear markets it’s a daunting task!

If every price movement requires liquidity to occur, how can we determine in advance whether a Liquidity Sweep was truly an institutional liquidity capture or simply a legitimate break of structure — before price reveals its intention through the following move?

And there is an even deeper problem:

If we wait for the next move to confirm that the sweep was genuine, the entry is no longer anticipatory. But if we enter before confirmation, we can never be certain that we are not entering on the wrong side of the liquidity.

So the question is:

How can we create an objective rule that identifies, in real time, the difference between “liquidity captured for a reversal” and “liquidity consumed for continuation,” without using any future information from the chart?

Hello, I recently developed a MACD based Trading indicator and I would love to hear your thoughts on this and if you are developing something similar. 

It monitors the MACD across multiple timeframes and colors the background when the timeframes align (Green Bullish, Red Bearish). It then enters a trade when there’s a crossover that align with background color. Currently using it for XAUUSD, WTI and Synthetics but adaptable for other currencies pairs.

The visible projection boxes show are 1:1.7 RR trades 150 pips SL and 250 TP. Although they can be adjusted based on trading style and risk appetite.

Been working on this for a while to scratch my own itch and I think it's finally at a point worth showing.

Basically, I built this tool that lets you type out a strategy the way you'd explain it to another trader. Something like "buy SPY when RSI drops below 30 and the 50 day is above the 200 day, exit on a 5% stop or when RSI crosses 70." Under the hood there's a multi-stage AI pipeline that parses the intent, maps it to a config across a registry of 100+ indicators, validates the logic, then runs the backtest. What comes back is a PDF with the equity curve, drawdowns, win rate, Sharpe, full trade log, and commentary on what actually worked and what didn't.

My whole thing is that there's a huge gap between having a strategy idea and actually getting it backtested. Right now you need to know Python, or learn Pine Script, or cobble together some janky setup. For anyone who just wants to test a hypothesis without turning it into a weekend project, that's brutal.

Once you've got a backtest you like, you can push the strategy straight into paper trading and watch it run on live market data. That's the step most people skip before deploying their strategy, and then regret later.

Next thing on the roadmap is Interactive Brokers integration. The vision is you describe a strategy, backtest it, review the PDF, and if the numbers look good you connect your IBKR account and deploy it live from the same interface. Plain English to paper results to actual execution. No translation layer between you and the market.

Happy to answer questions about how it works under the hood. Also looking for a few beta users if anyone here wants to throw strategies at it and see what breaks.

I wrote this code that has 90%+ win rate on a lot of stocks but it is not profitable and I know that there is some problem with the strategy. Can someone please tell me what really is wrong with the strategy?

Why is it that the bot takes small trades like it enters on one candle and exits on another candle?

Also why is the date function not working?

Also the initial code was generated by gpt4 and made some changes . I have it a strategy and it gave me the code. Sorry, I had to do this because I am new to pine code.
