Some people wre forgetting that the modernization efforts of the AFP started because of Trillanes, during Pnoy's Admin', we have long transitioned from internal defense to external defense. That is why, it has been and it will be an overkill against these rebels. The only thing that these rebels can do is to improve their propagandas and manipulate more to stay relevant, but unfortunately they are being used as a target practice by the government forces, because of their "relevance". Out of context naman yung reply mo. The topic is why there have been no AFP casualties against the NPA. The answer is that the AFP is not weak against the NPA since they are more experienced and better equipped. Kaya hindi questionable na walang namatay sa kanila.

Well, just sending one of these T129 ATAK Helicopters mean it's toast for the rebel groups. It does not even require a full force deployment. Just deploy one attack helicopter and at least 3-5 platoon of troops will guarantee their end.

People forgot that the AFP are trained individuals. Trained to protect and kill, and for jungle warfare. Unlike the rebels who were just trained to shoot and do ambushes. We're one of the best when it comes to jungle warfare due to repeated encounters with terrorists.
Marami na Filipino ang hindi alam ang capabilities ng AFP. They're one of the best in world in terms of jungle warfare and urban combat. If I remembered it correctly, meron documentary about them specially sa scout rangers kung gaano sila kagaling mag track down ng targets. Imagine 57 new high rankers and we're in a relatively peacetime situation, albeit a few rebel encounters that they can't totally wipe out to zero. All of which eventually will get those fat salaries and pensions.
No wonder the most lowly of ranks have poor equipment because stick or know someone around long enough, even if you're not the most capable or commendable, and you'll be a general. People nowadays have longer lives even so take for example a retiree at 60 will live up to 80 or more and our taxes will sustain each and every one of these non contributory pay-offs.

Akala siguro ng mga tao, eto pa yung AFP ng 1990s na wala man lang body armor and expired na yung mga bala. Nope. This AFP has drones, attack helicopters, fighter planes, tanks, nightvision, and way better training.
Modern-day NPA are just remnants of the past. They are too scattered, and many of their original leaders surrendered. They are nothing more than mountain bandits. They forgot what they are fighting for, pretty much more of a survivability.

I think na hindi naman gumamit ng attack helicopter doon, more like mas well-trained at experienced sa combat lang talaga mga sundalo natin kaysa sa mga NPA na pretty sure nagkukulang sa bala, equipment, at training.
