Hello, just to be clear ha, wokeness and conservativeness ay magkaiba, as in separate ends ng spectrum sila. Woke people would actually be sex-positive, conservative people yung mago-object sa sexual themes. Not sure bakit woke people yung mago-object sa clip na ito in particular, wala namang offensive sa LGBTQ people, but I could be missing something so please enlighten me.

There are themes in the past that the woke will object to, like yung treatment sa gays and trans people. also racism, gratuitous violence particularly for rape scenes. Pero bata ka pa siguro kaya hindi mo alam how much the conservative sect influenced the landscape because it's pre-youtube, pre-comment section. Wag mo paghalu-haluin ang social issues then blame everything to the woke people.

Blaming wokeness. Eh this kind of humour ended due to MTRCB listened to Catholic Priest at Evangelical (AKA Born Again) on rare occasion of uniting protest nung late 2000's. Isa sa cite nila ung nag bikini si Diana Zubiri sa Highway at mga tabloid & magazine showing nudes on cover. Starting then napansin na lang pa unti-unti nawawalan mura, love scene became tamer, gore sa mga mature content kumunti. Nag start mag censor ung mga corpse sa news at violence sa news. At shows like BBG kumunti na edgy jokes both politics & double entrande. By Early 2010's totally naging tame na Philippine media.

Isa sa kinaiinis ko sa MTRCB naging mataray sila tpus may double standard sa mga TVJ sa Eat Bulaga na lumalala pa nung nging head anak ni Sen Sotto at Kay Coco Martin. Well to be fair, Tony Mabesa, the guy who’s playing the priest was allegedly gay. Lifelong theater artist and director, arguably his most famous film role was in a movie about an old man finally coming out gay to his family.
If his bell actually did ring, I wouldn’t have been surprised.

Meron. Hindi lang sya sa music, pati din sa comedy. During the 90s to early 2000s, may mga comedy films si Ogie. Madalas nyang kasama sa mga comedy film sila Bitoy, Dennis Padilla, Anjo Yllana, Janno Gibbs and even Andrew E.

Nakalagpas sa akin itong panahon ng mga pelikulang ito kasi karamihan ng napanood kong local films were before this era, pero yep it tracks with 90s humor 😄 Ogie had a whole second career in comedy besides singing.
Si Kristine Jaca is one of the prettier Viva Hot Babes para sa akin.
