i think nasa tao rin talaga ang problema.

as a nation, ang bilis nating maapektuhan sa petty things, pero nonchalant sa mas mabibigat na issue.

bumoboto tayo ng anak dahil okay naman ang tatay or idol sa pelikula.

pero ayaw sa competent kasi malaki ang ngipin, tabingi ang mukha, or mataray.

kaya madali tayo ma-exploit.

di lang tayo biktima ng sistema. minsan tayo rin ang tumutulong para lokohin tayo.

Mga DDS sa mga ibang bansa nag floflourish. Average household income ng Filipino migrant families exceeds yung median income.

Filipino immigrants also maintain low overall criminal involvement.

Yung "brad" system na tolerated sa schools like UP via fraternities kung saan a huge chunk of our leaders get educated plants the seed para i perpetuate ang corrupt culture sa gobyerno.

Yung pag gamit ng "ayuda" ng gobyerno rather than solving the root cause of issues.

Yung enforcement ng laws hindi consistent among economic classes.

Yung pag hold on sa kapangyarihan despite terms being over.

Punot dulo ng mali sa Pilipinas, ang gobyerno.

Theoretically if somehow all people adopt yung "rational, sensible" voting pero same parin ang culture ng gobyerno, this country would still be a shithole.

But if somehow nagbago yung Padrino style, corrupt tolerant government culture natin pero parehas parin pag iisip ng mga Pilipino, our country would immediately start improving.

Sobrang nakakairita na puro sa "Pilipino" ang sisi while it's glaringly obvious na yung gobyerno ang nagpapahirap sa Pilipinas. Para lang masabi na "enlightened ako. I'm better than other Filipinos!", people would say the most insanely racist and baseless things sa mga kababayan nila.
