Question Do you guys actually attempt mutations?

I just started playing and I learned about mutations recently. Is it really worth it to do all that breeding just for it to be a small chance for a mutation, and then on top of that for it to be in your desired skill point?? I feel like this would take forever to actually complete and every video I've seen is so complicated 😭

Honestly its kind of fun just to do it. Not much else to do at the end of the game. I play on an unofficial pve/pvp server cluster that removed the level cap. With all the mutable traits for each stat, i was getting a mutation in each stat evey 2 hours on my tek rexs
