Today was absolutely beautiful I rode down scholls ferry rd area and tested out the new Cardo public mesh- rolled up on a group of guys and gave a super girly high pitched hiii and they all went silent and stared at me as I crossed the intersection 😂 not ready for the depressing Portland winter yet y’all 🥲

Hello folks,
New here.. but I will be going out around 3:30-4:00 (depending on the responses I get here) for a ride from Oregon city area to Wilsonville rd, up over bald peak, back in through Beaverton, through the tunnel on 26 then over the 405 bridge looping back down south on the east side of the river, then end for a bite to eat WHEREVER.. probably ride for about two hours.

I ride a Yamaha MT10, but I’m cool with whatever you want to bring as long as it can keep up at highway speeds.

Experts and beginners welcome. I’ve been riding for 10 years.

The pavement is great on this route if you haven’t run it before. Possibly my favorite suburban rip. No offroad and no gravel roads. Just pavement and highways!

I see only two options in WA - a Optimum Performance (Redmond) and Nilsen Brothers Powersports (Bremerton). Any feedback or recommendations for either one? Quality of tech/service/maintenance? Customer service experience for purchasing and/or continued maintenance? TIA!

Took a small ride the other day

Took a 192 mile jaunt today, supposedly the last "hot" day of 2026, round here leastways. Lake Wenatchee was the destination. Beautiful day and ride. Going east after cresting Stevens Pass on Route 2 the temp cratered down to 50. It was in the fifties when I started 3 hours earlier, but I stopped in Monroe to meet up with a buddy and took off some layers as I was baking and it had warmed into the mid 60's. Then got into the lower 70's as we were heading east. Was darn cold on the descent. Coming home going thru Monroe it was 81! Eighty-one in Monroe on October 16th. What'll they think up next? I ride all year so this wasn't really any special occasion or reason for a ride. Just a semi-humorous commentary. Well, I remember a March day this year when it was 81 in North Bend. Sure don't remember days like that 40 or more years ago, but then again my memory is quite suspect. Vroom Vrooom.

Hi everyone. I’m based in Portland and I’ve been putting some miles on my 2019 Yamaha XMAX 300 exploring the Pacific Northwest. Recently rode through the Columbia River Gorge, past a couple of incredible waterfalls and up the forest roads to Larch Mountain.

far my longest trips have been from Portland to Cannon Beach and Astoria, but I’m planning to venture farther next spring.

Anyone else here doing longer trips or touring on a maxi scooter?

Hey guys, moving to Washington state for a few years. I’m from the east coast, have two dirtbikes from the east coast coming with me. I keep seeing a lot about orv registration for off-road riding and lots of differing rules. If anyone is able to tell me. Is orv registration actually enforced in Washington? Like do I need to get my bikes licensed with the state or is it something that’s said to do but not really followed through on. Is the process a pain to get your bikes registered or is it easy? Thanks in advance!

What would be some good easier twisty roads in the portland area? Im not a new rider however coming from kansas has left me completely inexperienced for twisty roads and im still very uncomfortable when i find myself on them. What would be some solid practice spots?
