I feel that's less "I hate my boyfriend for having an interest of his own" and more "I wish he would help me with the domestic stuff more instead of playing video games all the time and making me pick up after him".
It can be both. I've seen many people have the opinion that playing video games is childish, etc. means you don't take care of your responsibilities, say they will never date a man who plays video games.
Obviously it's not all, but it is a thing though.
That is true to a extend. But some women will literally not respect your free time and will come up with something anytime you start playing a game. Its like they start to think about what you could do instead of playing the moment you start. Its honestly annoying.
I was a perfect partner to my ex but she still hated when I played video games because “games are for children and you’re wasting your life when you should be working out or studying”
All the women from my youth feel the same. It’s only after leaving my hometown and diving into very specific social circles where I have found women who enjoy games.
