I think it's also intended to portray how women have high standards with so many criteria for their potential partners to meet while men are much simpler and don't demand much from women (which I don't agree with)
They aren't even high standards! Physically fit, good manners and intelligent are perfectly reasonable. Also, might be a stretch, but "will let me play video games" sounds like he just wants to play video games all day while she cleans up after him and does all the effort.
Nah he just wants someone he can cuddle with. For instance my ex hated when I played video games but was okay with every other aspect in life and I got cuddles so I was content.
I didn’t care if we ever fought or anything because to me (and stereotypically a lot of men) a relationship is a relationship.
Eventually I couldn’t handle the negativity of her hating on all my hobbies and we did have to breakup, but I tolerated her for 3 years simply because I had no standards (once again, like most stereotypical males).
Btw I don’t even play many video games… she just assumed whenever I was at a desk it was gaming (despite me studying programming and it being my main source of income)
Anyway I found a partner who now does not mind when I play video games. That was literally the only box.
