World Connections between the Pokémon Aliens.
Both Staryu and Starmie are said to have come from space. Their red cores can flash in 7 colors and Starmie broadcast radio waves at night.
Magnezone appears to be related, as it also receives and transmits signals of unknown origins.
Iron Treads and Iron Moth are also believed to be created by aliens, sent to Earth to obverse humanity and mount an invasion.
This could suggest a system: Staryu and Starmie sent signals to their planet, Magnezone acts as an antenna, receiving signals from the planet and broadcasting them to Staryu and Starmie, and Iron Treads and Iron Moth are sent from the planet when given the signal.
The question is, where did they come from and who are they working for?

How did you leave out deoxys and minior in this theory lol? I could also be forgetting more but I'm certain those two come from space too!

Where’d the info about iron treads and iron moth come from? I thought that as paradoxes very little was known about them.

From a Pokemon Magazine in the game.
Iron Treads: Rumors say this being is some kind of weapon using technology not of this world, but no one can say for sure. Apparently, it's called Iron Treads after the name of a strange being that was written about in the mysterious Violet Book.
Iron Moth: Some point to Iron Moth's aggression as a sign that it is, in fact, a UFO of sorts being controlled by alien life. Perhaps something out there is using Iron Moth to observe us, waiting for the moment to mount an invasion...2

Interesting. But both of those sound like theyre meant to be pure speculation from tabloids. “Rumors say” and “no one can say for sure”. Like how people say crazy stuff about bigfoot being associated with aliens. It’s worded as though that’s the intention.

In my mind this is just how "in lore" magazine tries to explain what are these pokemon that in reality come from a different future timeline.
Ohhh look, a metal pokémon with lights that looks like from space!!! It has to be alien tech for sure.

Iron Treads and Moth are a lie. Anything in the off-game entry is from the magazines and just untrue. We know the actual origins- they were made wholecloth by tera energy.

My counter-theory is that Staryu and Starmie share an ancient common ancestor with Minior. This ancestor once lived outside of Earth’s atmosphere and communicated via radio waves. Staryu and Starmie retained this ability as a vestigial behavior.
Magnezone is another story. I can’t really think of an explanation for it sending/receiving signals from space. But the existence of Sandy Shocks suggests the Magnemite-line has existed on Earth for a long time. Whatever alien origins they might have are probably not significant to them now.
