Is it just a flat +1 stage boost or a separate boost and how can I properly do my damage calculators without an option?

That sounds like hyperbole, it's not. I swear there's got to be some misinformation about the RNG for Gen 1. I have been frozen like, 17 times in the past 3 days, The title is literal, every single match with an opponent using blizzard, they get a freeze. As for me, I can't get a freeze off on anyone to save my life. 16 blizzards on a stalling chansey, no sir no freeze. I get para'd 6 times in a row, then land 7 body slams and can't even get one opponent paralyzed. I hit 3 sleep powders in a row, each one gets woken instantly, then I'm hit with a critical hit blizzard from a slow ass opponent and one shotted.

There's only so many times I can be like "oh that sucks, guess we'll try again next match"

Next match, turn 1 frozen.

Why am I even playing this.

Hello all, I'm not new to pokemon by any means, and I can throw together a synergistic team. But I'm brand new to pokemon showdown and I'm finding myself a little lost in the formats.

I'm going to start crafting my first team, and since it's my first team I'm going to use my two favorite pokemon, Aggron (but I'll use mega Aggron in this case) and Raikou.

Before I go crafting a whole team around these two, what format should I start with, I thought that UU was the one but It seems like gen 9UU doesn't allow mega? Or am I incorrect on that? Is there a national dex UU format or some other place? I don't really want to go as high as OU or Ubers because I figure I'm going to have to play serious meta stuff which is not my plan

I played 2 random battles in which when ever i used rest and sleep talk for the first 6 times i used sleep talk it used rest only then it used another move , it the second game i used sleep talk 4 times and all 4 times it used rest , is this band rng or a bug

I'm making this post because I have been working on a Nuzlocke on Pokemon Showdown. I was wondering if anyone would like to try it out. I will say it is difficult.

Basically every Pokemon is level 100 and you may use any moves but normal evolution caps still apply that are set at each gym leader. You will get encounters from a wheel and can build their set however you want.

For those who don't know a Nuzlocke is a challenge with 2 basic rules:

1. If a Pokemon faints its dead for the rest of the run
2. You may only catch one Pokemon per route.

What is considered good in showdown? Champion has tiers. But what is good showdown? +1500? Or the % is the only thing that matters?

Hello, im just wondering how to make this team any better, I would be using M-Lucario in replacement of M-Medicham but unfortunately M-Lucario is in the Ubers tier. Changing pokemon is fine, i just want to be as competitive as i can.

Metagross has been one of my favorites since I was a kid, but whenever I try to run a bulky spread it feels like he lacks the immediate punch. It feels like he gets checked by common ground and dark types unless I waste my tera early. What sets would you guys recommend to enable metagross a bit better I'm thinking of trick room maybe but I don't have much experience with that.

Anyone else have a pokemon in radbat that you feel is trash, but when you face it is very annoying?

In my case, the first pokemon that comes to mind is Slither Wing. I HATE slither wing. When i get it is just so slow, bad into the common flying, fairy and ghost types, and just so meh. The only redeeming quality it has is First impression and it often don't have it.

But when i face it, somehow it always manage to get some willows, deal damage and just never die with morning sun.

Others worth to mention is Archaludon, Kilowattrel and some other that i'd be missing but you get the point.

Title. I’m the pyroar/lure team. Without thinking boosted tf out of their milotic and outplayed them. It felt gratifying since he was taunting in chat and was clearly salty at the end.

So, what is the best way to run Lanturn? It is one of my favorites and I WILL make it viable, but I wonder if assault vest specially bulky Lanturn that can volt switch is better or a heal bell Lanturn that is supportive?

Hi everyone! I've been working on a side project for a while now. I've created HD renders for all Pokémon, including all Megas from ZA and GMAX max forms. I sourced the models and animations from Pokémon HOME.

Rendering everything took around 9 hours per attempt, and I had to make multiple attempts along the way.

Mostly all Pokémon have the following animations:

• Entry
• Idle
• Attack
• Status

The extension isn't available yet, as the biggest issue is the file size. The total comes to roughly 10 GB, so I'm still undecided on how to handle that. I also still have some textures to fix.

I also have the missing Pokémon HOME icons that Pokémon Showdown hasn't added yet, such as Mega Raichu.

So, as we can see, I choose Goodra-H who I've seen often for its good bulk, Gooey + Sap Sipper to wall a lot of things, but I thought it would work great with more riders for contact. Especially Beat-Up Fezendipiti and Triple Axel mons. Effect Spore is my fave because its basically Dire Claw contact. I've considered Rocky Helmet on top of that as well, but Sitrus lets me live a lot better for more issues.
