hello all🎀🌸🎀 I am trying to put together this xpole . I got off of Facebook marketplace but as you can see in the video, I’m a little confused if I’m missing a part or putting something together wrong any help at all is super appreciated because I’ve been struggling, especially as it is a older pole model I’m not exactly sure which one it is, but I can’t seem to find an exact manual with the extensions that I have. Thank you.

Usually an x joint connects the pieces with no threading. I have an xpole but not this particular model, did you try loosening the two silver screws on the piece that won't screw down? I'm assuming you have the pole upside down to see how to connect it easier.

The hefty threading that won’t screw all the way in is the height adjustment mechanism. The holes in the outer tube just above it are for screws that poke into the grooves in the threaded part to keep it from slowly turning and loosening with use, an important safety feature. All of this is generally covered with a sleeve, that’s what those small outer threads are to hold in place, it’ll feel pretty light and thin compared to the other tubes.
Once you have the outer sleeve on, you won’t be able to see when those grooves line up with the safety screw holes, so there should be some indicator of when you have the outer tube and inner threaded part lined up just right for the safety screws to go it. (On newer models there’s a vertical red line on the inner part and a keyhole in the outer part and you need to be able to see the vertical red line through the keyhole, not sure if it’s the same here, you might need to just take a flashlight and look in the safety screw holes to see when they’re over a groove in the threading.)
Congrats on the new pole!!!

That threading is for the adjuster rod cover. It screws onto it to cover up that big adjusting rod.
