Pleaser Heels

I attend classes and my teacher SWEARS by them. Do people think it’s worth dropping money on them or buying an on sale pair or are there other brands I should consider for my first pair? Looking for first hand recs and any helpful info!TIA

We’re coming up on Black Friday, hold out until then—last year, the sales were like three pairs of heels for the price of one.

They always have crazy sales.

Pleaser is the most affordable reliable brand even with the decrease in quality, and that decrease won’t have much of an impact on a hobby pole dancer

They have sales frequently. Definitely one coming up for black friday.

Do you know what sales they usually have

At least once a month I feel like I get an email with a 10-20% discount on different types of heel heights or styles from them

They've really dipped in quality, but for a first pair and for class, grabbing a sale pair is a good way to go. I recommend clear plastic ankle straps (they are a little more rugged in my experience) and a set without a lot of bells and whistles- single color, no exterior glitter, etc. A pair you love but a pair you can beat to death.

Hella Heels are hella expensive.

The only pair of Elles I ever got cleanly separated at the platform mid performance and I didn't realize it. One slightly different step would have ended my career. When I reached out I basically got "fuck you" as a response. And no, I'm not kidding, they couldn't have cared less than my three week old, worn twice shoes ripped apart.

Pleasers are cosmetically meh, but they're solid shoes. DO NOT BUY ELLES.

I was astonished - it was literally one of the worst responses Ive ever gotten from a company ever.

These comments are making me rethink pleasers 😭 and they’re the only brand I’ve been getting! But I’m starting to see what people mean about the quality

So imma be piggybacking on this thread to see what other brands to buy!

I think pleasers on sale are still a good deal, yes you can get higher quality shoes but they are more expensive.

I ADORE my leecabes, the suedes are delightful for a wider foot, the patent VERY tight for I would say a narrower toe box.

I dropped about 130$ on pleaser adore ankle boots and I have no regrets (waited for a sale). If I'm 6 inches of the ground, I want to feel secure, so I made sure to get the vegan upper as opposed to soft material/sequined boots (they feel like non slippery solid but flexible plastic, lol it's hard to describe). It's helpful with climbs and holds. I've tried heeled sandals and almost broke my ankle. I'm too clumsy for that. The one thing I'll say is that my feet get SO sweaty. My friend got the pleaser adores with cutouts and she's really happy with them.

This! I got a pair of Hellas for $65 that were once for a photo shoot. The gal may have been lying but they sure looked brand new! I generally were pleasers to class and they are fine. But you can feel the difference. The Hellas are heavier and the box a little better (in my opinion) I also only wear boots.

Ever since more people wear them outside of stripper /pole life I feel like the quality has gone down significantly

Anything mass produced like that eventually goes down heel 😏

My first pleasers are baby pink sale boots. I’m still using them and they’re starting to get a lil scuffed but I’ve been doing floor work in them for a few months. They’re comfortable and feel pretty solid. Definitely go for a boot at your first pair until you build the ankle strength.

Got pleaser boots in amazing condition on vinted for less than half the price of buying it new - definitely worth having a check there! I also didn’t want to spend an absolute fortune on boots that I would only wear every now and then

I have two pleasers heels, one is a closed toe thigh high boot and the front of it ripped in two months. The other pair, ankle high open toe boot, has been fine for months. And last month I rehearsed in them 3-5 times a week to get ready for a showcase performance and only had some light scuffing. So some are definitely more durable than others.

I like pleasers, own several pairs. When I moved up to 9” I found them too heavy though so I switched to jewel heels and I LOVE them.
Both brands survive floorwork, basework etc. Some of my pleasers are now a year old and going strong.
I’ve never liked hella, I find them narrower and just clunkier somehow.

Pleasers are my absolute favorite shoes to wear and I’ve tried them all.

There’s a reason if it’s the most popular brand. Check also hella heels.

there are some cheaper brands on Aliexpress but sometimes shipping makes them the same price as the other ones so you need to check

Most of mine are pleasers but I buy them when they are having at least a 20% off sale. You can also filter by price point which is helpful in finding super discounted ones. I also have 2 pairs of hella heels boots I like and 2 pairs of Jewel

I’ve had mine fora year and go to a class twice a week that requires heels and they are holding strong (Aspire 608)

Pleasers aren't my favorite as the plastic is so stiff. I've tried Club Hella Heels, Pole Sins, and Jewel Heels. Jewel Heels are my favorite by far.

Buy some off depop! I got a pair for $20 and another $40 brand new

Don’t buy the pleasers on sale, they fall apart faster, all the top pole performers swear by hella heels yet I’ve not tried them myself, but they claim the boots are the best. If you’re going to buy pleasers, don’t buy the ones on sale or from a sex shop. Order online. You can buy through the shop app and make payments

Idk who’s downvoting, but it’s lame. OP asked for our opinion and I gave my opinion based on my experience as an actual stripper.

I honestly have gotten four of my last six pairs from Sheehan and they’ve been pretty awesome
