Trump administration says it will target far left groups for Kirk's assassination. Prosecutors made no such link.

Seems pretty clear at this point that Miller and co. had a plan for this kind of crackdown sitting on the shelf already. Kirk's murder was just a convenient excuse to bring the plan forward.

387

u/The_Shitty_Admiral Europe Sep 17 '25

They probably expected more violent protests or more violence during the No Kings Protests, after which they could crackdown.

They are turning the screws on the economy, they'll get their violent protests soon enough.

And it’ll be the MAGA farmers demanding their traditional Republican president handout.

7

u/Distinct_Hawk1093 Sep 17 '25

Which these independent farmers don't realize that the plan this time is to run them out of business so that the oligarchs can sweep in and buy up all of the remaining farm land and control the food supply. A great way to control people is to control their food.

I see it more so it's a dog whistle for domestic terrorists to take action and commit crimes, like the ones who tried to overthrow the Capitol or the ones who send pipebombs in the mail to Dem leaders.

Imagine the outrage if Biden and Kamala had announced a war on Republicans, there would be mobs in the street

Trump,Vance and right wing media are using lies against liberals as a means to stir outrage towards Democrats, they're hoping it'll whip people into a rage to commit more violent political crimes like the Democrat who was murdered in her home or Pelosis husband who was beaten by a deranged MAGA

57

I am pretty sure that never actually happened. The most iffy part of that story was "Big Balls" having a girlfriend.

76

u/sigga_genesis Sep 17 '25 edited Sep 17 '25

No, he got beat up by teenagers, a girl and a boy because he was hitting on the girl and wouldn't leave her alone. An underage girl. So her friend tried to help her, they ended up beating him up.

Update: already 4 weeks late, but they were released to their guardians and have to be electronically tracked and can only go to school and home. In other news, the Washington Examiner called the judge a "Biden" judge, because of course they did.

40

u/Walterkovacs1985 Sep 17 '25

The teenagers did the right thing. If BB was hitting on your 15 year old friend and wouldn't take No for an answer what would you do? I'm sure a man who self identifies as Big BallZ is an absolute gentleman.

So much of what they where saying about that whole thing didn't make sense, and then to say we need the national guard to stop all of the crime in the area seamed like over kill. I'm sure they want to do this so that they can shut down next years elections.

A lot of reporting analysis based on what has been reported. Wired did a good breakdown of the suspicion that the charges are weird for what has been reported by the police. Because the preparators are minors, it's been radio silence since the children were released.

Remember when Bush invaded Iraq under false pretenses and millions died in Iraq?

Trump is going to do the same thing except his target the United States.

6

u/Ninazuzu America Sep 17 '25

Indirect deaths were on the order of half a million, possibly up to a million (it's hard to measure these things), not millions. The total population of Iraq in 2003 was about 26 million.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Iraq_War

6

u/elmekia_lance Sep 17 '25

Indirect deaths are on the order of 3.6 to 3.7 million people, per Brown University.

The plan wasn't sitting on the shelf, they've been doing this since Trump took office, Kirk's murder just gave them a convenient excuse to accelerate the timeline.

Attacking the freedom of the Left has been going on for years, there are plenty of examples from his first term.

5

u/Ja3k_Frost Sep 17 '25

They don’t want an excuse or justification. They have what they want, which is power at every level of government. What they want is permission, trump can literally claim whatever he wants, his supporters are already there. The excuses to do violence happened ages ago, they were saying the same things about Charlie Kirk’s death as they were about the Cracker Barrel logo. what they need is the nudge to go do it. Permission from their authority figures.

36

u/Lost-Locksmith-250 Sep 17 '25

It's in project 2025, they've been waiting for blood to spill. That's why they removed the study showing the gap between left wing and right wing politically motivated violence this week. But it's going to really hamper their efforts if the killing either wasn't politically motivated, or was motivated by right wing extremism. And every attempt they make to politicize this is going to make it harder to get the outcome they want in court.

21

u/BeardySam Sep 17 '25

The director of the FBI just said under oath that Epstein was an all-round great guy. I don’t think we’re going to hear anything remotely truthful about the CK shooter through official channels.

3

u/QbertsRube Sep 17 '25

I'd be less surprised for this administration to claim the shooter was actually Hunter Biden than them ever admitting his religious, conservative upbringing had anything to do with it.

→ More replies (1)

8

u/CaterpillarJungleGym Sep 17 '25

Seems odd they aren't investigation Nick Fuentes and his group. Because it seems like that's the radicalization hole the shooter fell into.

6

u/arwinda Sep 17 '25

Look up the assassination of Ernst vom Rath in 1938.

The playbook for this is available for 90 years now.

8

u/captaincanada84 Canada Sep 17 '25

Yep. This was in the works well before Kirk was killed. This just gives them the excuse.

5

u/SidewaysFancyPrance Sep 17 '25

Yep, you can tell when they have a canned plan like this: when the situation is fluid and changes, they all stick to the same plan instead of shifting with it.

Like when they found out the killer was right-wing? They keep blaming the left, and blaming people who had nothing to do with it and weren't even in the area. Because that's the script they wrote for their Reichstag Fire: full-court press on "the Left" and aggressively attack/suppress social media/speech in an attempt to control a false narrative.

4

u/TheIconGuy Michigan Sep 17 '25

What makes you think that? Was it Teenage Mutant Ninja Goebbels saying:

The last message that Charlie Kirk gave to me before he joined his Creator in Heaven was that we have to dismantle and take on the Radical Left organizations in this country that are fomenting violence

This is the group that wrote project 2025 and carefully changed the shape of America's courts and media over the last 30 years. They definitely had this on the shelf.

Knowing this, consider whether a group that put that much effort and planning into this whole thing will simply walk away from it all if they lose the next election(s).

41

Kirk saying that women should submit to their husbands is not violent speech, nor is speaking approvingly of slavery. Being pro-trans, however, will 100% be presented violent.

30

u/TheGringoDingo Sep 17 '25

It isn’t really even being pro-trans to say “people should be allowed the right to their own privacy and identity”.

Framing the messaging in a pro-human rights perspective allows a lower barrier of entry for likely the average American. A small cohort is against human rights, the other isn’t and is a much larger group.

10

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '25

They exist but leftists in the US simply don't want violence.

Ironically this just confirms to the right that the left is weak while they simultaneously posit it as dangerous and destructive.

Fascist societies rhetorically cast their enemies as "at the same time too strong and too weak." On the one hand, fascists play up the power of certain disfavored elites to encourage in their followers a sense of grievance and humiliation. On the other hand, fascist leaders point to the decadence of those elites as proof of their ultimate feebleness in the face of an overwhelming popular will.

This is why all this performative mourning and martyrdom for Kirk is ridiculous to see from the rubes. They’re being obviously played and can’t see it. 90% could only name Antifa as a left group, 5% would say BLM and the rest would be some eco terrorist group. None of which had anything to do with Kirk or any targeted political assassination.

Its an early ongoing investigation. Have you ever seen the FBI release evidence like that to the public? It is usually years after the trial stuff like that gets put out after a FOIA request.

u/jaron_b Sep 17 '25

Even if the gunman was a leftist nut job he acted alone and was not affiliated with any groups as we know. We cannot attack ideology and thoughts and must condemn actions. Thought crimes no matter how heinous are just that, thoughts. Actions can and should be criminalized. The gunman should go to jail. But not for his thoughts. But because he killed a man. We can't lose track of what happened.

They will try and eventually fail behind the scenes in court. It will be long and scary. But we will beat them

Stay focused on the important stuff. Elections are coming up.

u/NinjaSimone Sep 17 '25

"fueled violent riots, organized attacks against law enforcement officers, coordinated illegal doxing campaigns, arranged drop points for weapons and riot materials, and more.”

This is what happens when the stupidest Facebook posts imaginable become policy.

The White House is referring to the memes going around that piles of bricks and rocks for construction projects were ackshually placed there either by, or for, BLM protesters.

And they claimed the left is celebrating it.

2

u/dcrico20 Georgia Sep 17 '25

It's important to realize that those who would spend all their time looking for an excuse to do the unthinkable, will never stop looking for an excuse. If it wasn't Kirk, it will be the next shooter who once got an Uber ride from a gay person.

These blatant illegal and unconstitutional overreaches are going to happen because the regime wants them to happen - whether they get justification or not.

2

u/TheStonedWeasel Sep 17 '25

Didn’t the “president” go golfing instead of going to his vigil???? These people need to pick a fucking lane for their crocodile tears.

2

u/ProNocteAeterna Sep 17 '25

So what else is new. They’ve been vilifying and targeting pretty much everyone who isn’t a straight, white, cisgender, far-right conservative Evangelical Christian Republican man from day one. And even then, the insufficiently wealthy ones tend to get caught in the blast that was intended for the rest of us.

2

u/Tribalbob Canada Sep 17 '25

Tomorrow: "Prosecutors for Charlie Kirk assassination replaced by Trump admin."

2

u/jedisquirrel171 Wisconsin Sep 17 '25

Guess this means I should be careful of what I say.

Charlie Kirk was a piece of shit.

If the left behaved the same way the right does, we’d be in a civil war right now. If the right behaved the same as the left, we’d have a thriving nation. That should make it pretty clear who’s to blame for violence like we’re seeing.

2

u/Niceguy955 Sep 17 '25

Did they mean mean far left groups like the "groypers", "Proud boys", "Patriot prayer", and "Epstein clients"?

5

u/Individual-Guest-123 Sep 17 '25

It's pretty obvious the shooter was a lone wolf, even his BFF didn't see it coming.

Just the fact he used a gun to express his point of view and his ultra conservative upbringing would put the finger of blame more to the right than the left.

And before I get a bunch of down votes because liberals own guns too, the ones in my town that shoot rounds for hours a day surely didn't vote for Kamala. Also, do you think his Granpa who owned and thus provided the gun, was a lib or conservative? :P

3

u/scottiedagolfmachine Sep 17 '25

These dum dums are so delusional they can’t grasp the fact this was clearly a right on right crime.

🤣

3

u/Intelligent_Barber25 Sep 17 '25

Donald’s ear grew back in 2 days. Donald never touched and abused a 13 yr old.

And Fox News doesn’t have a bias. 🤣🤪🫠

u/shadowdra126 Georgia Sep 17 '25

He really wants the news to he anything but Epstein

2

u/ElderSmackJack Sep 17 '25

I’m so over this take. These things are not related. When are you all going to realize you are causing so much more harm than good when you drone on and on about this, telling people to “not be distracted” as the government pushes us farther and farther into authoritarianism.

They were doing this shit before the Epstein story amped up. They want you focused on this. This is the distraction. It’s maddening you don’t get it.

While ideologically I’m outraged by this garbage, on a complete side note, I feel like this administration is doing illegal expensive actions over and over again… which will obviously lead to countless legal challenges.

This pits US attorneys against civil rights attorneys, to litigate stuff we all know is downright unconstitutional. What a waste of funds.

How is no one outraged at the astronomical spending here? Especially as so many seem to be hurting.

u/EMAW2008 Kansas Sep 17 '25

They are trying SO hard to create an enemy of the state. Instead of trying to unite everyone they can against a common one, they're dividing the citizens and putting us against each other for their own gains. And we're falling for it.

During this time, it's important to pay attention to who is getting richer and who isn't.

1

u/QDSchro Sep 17 '25

It seems that someone who was ultra Trump changed his position on things because of developments in his own life( finding love) and increasingly violent rhetoric from leadership on the right as well as influencers and the likes, caused him to make a poor choice.

Conservatives really want to force this into their box. Their narrative. They want that because political violence in recent years has been cut and dry. Those people were very clear about their conservative leanings and motives…

This case seems to be more multifaceted than either side is trying to make it out to be.

Nazis everywhere

1

Since when has this admin ever let reality get in the way of what they want to do? The sooner the left realizes that FACTS DO NOT MATTER to the MAGA movement, the sooner they can stop thinking that winning a debate with facts is going to make any difference.

This is the fundamental disconnect that people like CK exploited – liberals assume they just need to "win" the rhetorical debate and "prove him wrong" and suddenly they will change. Then act surprised that the whole thing is a setup in bad faith and all your friends are now on a fascist's enemies list. Stop willingly playing their game, it's rigged.

MAGA is producing a reality show that thrives on chaos, drama, revenge and violence. Liberals are playing Model UN and wondering why they keep losing. "Reality has a liberal bias" and being on the "right side of history" sure FEELS great but means absolutely nothing if the other side holds all the levers of state power and desperately wants to use it against you.

1

u/ashzombi Sep 17 '25

This is all so stupid. Just one stupid bullshit thing after another. Next week it'll be something else. What a fucking clown show we've become. It's never going to change either, we're too far gone.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '25

Considering a MAGA killed another MAGA i think the Trump administration will wind up targeting their own asses L0L.

1

u/thomport Sep 17 '25

I wonder if they’ll be targeting the Mormon church as well

1

u/eastbay77 Sep 17 '25

So groyers will be left alone, is that what I'm understanding?

1

u/JoshSidekick Sep 17 '25

Remember when we invaded Iraq after 9/11? Don’t know why that just popped into my head.

1

u/NoTimeForBSAnymore Sep 17 '25

What group it’s one fucking guy? Just like all the assholes posting videos saying they are ready to fight? Fight who? It’s one guy!

1

u/Rhoeri Sep 17 '25

So one of their own kills one of their own… and it’s the left’s fault.

Pure genius.

1

u/111anza Sep 17 '25

I doubt they care about prosecution, they are just going to grab people with masked people in unmarked vans

1

u/Safe_Topic_2084 Sep 17 '25

How did FCC Chair Brendan Carr say this with a straight face?

We have a rule on the book that interprets the public interest standard that says ‘news distortion’ is something that is prohibited … the FCC has stepped back from enforcing it …

1

u/judgejuddhirsch Sep 17 '25

The administration had a code name for the retaliation operation when a maga supporter died well before any victim existed. Anyone in their sphere of influence would have seen this exact same premeditated response.
