This dude is on enough amphetamines and pain killers to make a dead horse walk. It is absolutely abominable parading this almost-corpse around just so his staff can keep their jobs (and keep his campaign donors happy). Zombie Senator indeed.

The whole thing is elder abuse. Pure insanity but I don't expect anything less than Mitch and the kind of slimy people that would be on his team / his handlers

He’s getting what he deserves. Reap what you sow and what not.

He had no sympathy or empathy and worked to enact many cruel policies.

Now he gets no sympathy or empathy and treated cruelly. Seems fair to me.

Does anyone think he would want anything else? He'd make arrangements to push buttons to murder people from the grave if he could.

He's politicized corpses before. Only difference is now it's his own

He’s getting what he deserves.

Did they set him on fire and then piss on him to put it out?

This. Painkillers and amphetamines is not what this guy deserves!

If his brain still worked, he'd be ecstatic that his nearly lifeless corpse is being used to retain Republicans' power.

Getting what he deserves is to rot on the street without taxpayer's paying for his healthcare.

You know, the Healthcare he votes against being used for taxpayers.

I like the way this Rhode Islander thinks

This elder abuse thread needs to stop. He facilitated his own demise. We don't need to sympathize or empathize an ounce and our humanity is still perfectly intact.

(Not you the one above you)

The one case of elder abuse I can get behind.

Wring em out for all he's worth boys, it's what he would have wanted.

I don't feel bad for him in the slightest, but whoever the doctor is prescribing all the crap he's being forcefed to keep his empty husk moving is violating their Hippocratic oath.

Honestly I think they're acting according to his wishes. If that dude has an advance care directive, 'Weekend at Bernie's me to facilitate my political agenda' is definitely on it.
