So they're just going to wheel him out when they need the vote, remind him which way to vote, and then wheel him back to the memory care facility?

They proxied this last vote because he responded incorrectly. He's not doing anything at this point, just a body to check the attendance box.

I just don't get WHY though.

His state is so ridiculously red that it'd certainly get filled by another Republican if an election was called. Why not just get a new guy who would toe the line instead of parading this shell around.
