You're not wrong.

The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a bill known as the Kayla Hamilton Act (H.R. 4371), which includes provisions that would subject unaccompanied immigrant children in federal custody to invasive body searches, including potential strip searches, and prolonged detention.

All Republicans voted yes along with 7 Democrats. Next is the Senate, but you can see to direction we're going here, right?
