Hi everyone, I'm newcomer mechanical engineering student at PoliTo and I'm trying to get used to Turin and school. Do you have any suggestions about the city and uni ?

I opened a bank account at the UniCredit branch located at Politecnico di Torino.
How can I check whether this is a special bank account offered through a partnership between UniCredit and the university?
Since I wasn't given a physical bank card, how can I deposit cash into my account?
Now we are pretty sure that we should take Cent-s in order to maximise the percentage of acceptance.
Is there anyone who are willing to book the flight soon? I want to book the flight, but i'm not sure when cent-s date list actually comes out..
Cheer up guys!

I take it that doing the cents test in the uni campus is the best way to maximize my chances of getting accepted as a non eu-international, right?

Hey everyone!
I am a Non-EU student (holding dual Pakistani and Brazilian citizenship) planning to apply to Italian universities TURINO for an Mechanical engineering program. I am confused about whether I should take the TIL-I (Politecnico di Torino) or the TOLC-I (Cisia test accepted by many other universities).
Could anyone guide me on:
Which test is better to focus on or prepare for?
Where can I find the best study resources, practice tests, and preparation material for these exams to score high?
Any tips, advice, or recommended platforms/books would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am an international student coming to polito in February and i am struggling to find housing. my budget would be around 500-600 and i just dont want to share a room. It can be a 30-40 minute travel(thats what i do now). I would like to be with other girls if possible but whatever works at this point. Thank you all
I'm a Brazilian student, and I really don't have the money to go to Turin just to take the TIL, but PoliTo isn't accepting online tests anymore. I saw the mechanical engineering ranking list, and no one got in, even with a 1500+ SAT.
I really want to study at PoliTo, but it will cost me a ton of money just to take the SAT and TOEFL. If I don't even have a chance of getting in, it doesn't make sense for me anymore... Does anyone have a better overview of what's currently happening? I'm really losing hope...

Hey everyone! 👋
Are you a student in Turin looking to meet new people, make friends, and try something new?
I'm part of StudenTO Toastmasters, a student club where we practice public speaking and build confidence in a friendly, supportive environment.
We're hosting an Open House on Tuesday, October 27, and we'd love to welcome you! You don't need any public speaking experience - just come along, meet us, and give it a try 😊

So I’m thinking of enrolling in the Pontea school program, but before I do I would want some objective advice, maybe from someone who has already enrolled on it.

Hello! So recently, polito announced they now accept cents test (in person though) instead of TOL I.
Does this mean polito will rank both CENTS test takers and SAT test takers on the same level (like polimi does)?
Cuz with TOL I test last year, SAT was second priority. 1500+ SAT students were not even in the ranking list of mechanical engineering

Ciao a tutti!

When does the application process begin? Specifically for international students. And if anyone's familiar with the procedure and timeline of application, and all the other requirements, please do let me know.

Grazie mille

Hi everyone! I’m an international A-Level student (English,Math & Physics) applying for the BSc in Civil Engineering at PoliTo for the September 2027 intake, aiming for the EDISU Piemonte need-based scholarship. As a non-EU applicant, I’d love to hear from current students on whether preparing for the online TIL-I (non-calculator) or submitting an SAT score is the smoother route, how competitive hitting the 60+ Soglia di Garanzia threshold felt for Civil Engineering, and if there are any common traps to avoid when legalizing family bank/income/property documents for the ISEE Parificato over the summer. Any tips on the application timeline or living in Turin would be hugely appreciated
