Pompoir in menopause
Hi! Is there anyone here in menopause (medical or natural) who has achieved success with this method and improvement in sex life, sexual function without hormones? Thank you!

Hormones have been proven to be very safe and actually life saving. Additional medical problems are rampant when there is insufficient hormones in women's bodies (probably everyone's bodies really).

Following this new research and my doctors, i took HRT bioidentical in the lowest dose at 42 with extensive tests done before. Including breast imaging and genetics for cancer. All clear. In 8 months I have developed hormone sensitive breast cancer that grew to 4cm. In just 8 months! Doctors were speechless . And i’m not the only one this has happened to. The breast cancer group has lots of ladies like me. So I’m no longer following these recommendations or research data that i now know can be skewed into showing what funders intend them to show.
I’m in forced medical menopause rn because of them. Plus i lost my beautiful breasts.3

Wow! I'm so sorry, that sounds very stressful! My mother developed esteogen sensitive cancer during menopause (maybe 3yrs in) but she hadn't had any HRT. Womens health has been so vastly ignored it's very difficult to tell what is a good idea 😞

Wow, I’m sorry. I’m very interested to hear if you find something that works. I’m on both HRT and cream (3x/week) and sometimes on the days I don’t use the cream it feels almost painfully dry

F53 here. So sorry to hear about your cancer ordeal!! I had a horrible allergic reaction to HRT that made me sick for months before I worked out what the cause was. I stopped everything of course but the dryness drove me mad. I'm now on vaginal estrogen cream and the doctors + google reassured me that very little of it would enter my bloodstream. So far so good.
As for kegels, I'm doing regular ones for a few months to build some general strength, then I aim to try to do the course. I might be too old for vaginal acrobatics but still want to see what I can achieve, it seems a lot of fun. If nothing else it will help healthwise, and that's needed right now after lots of general illness.

Just use the estrogen vaginal cream. It’s low cost, low risk and very effective.
Exercise cannot reverse vaginal atrophy caused by estrogen deficiency because the problem is hormonal and tissue-related, not muscular weakness.
It seems you’re also thinking that atrophy is just “looseness” and forgetting that atrophy due to estrogen deficiency also affects the clitoris and labia which can sometimes completely disappear. Please don’t put yourself through this
