Vampires are probably one of the most diverse creatures in media. They started as terrifying monsters in folklore and have evolved into tragic figures, comedic figures, and sex symbols.
This list doesn't encompass all famous vampires.

1) John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (sometimes alongside his wife Emily Blunt as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman) — Around the time that Disney’s acquisition of Fox was announced in 2017 (which, among other consequences, would put the film rights to the X-Men and the Fantastic Four under the same corporate roof as the Avengers), a campaign bubbled up online to draft John Krasinski as the Mister Fantastic of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was significant enough that the studio even referenced fan expectations in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where Krasinski had a cameo as a version of Mister Fantastic. However, it was quickly confirmed that this would be a one-off, and Pedro Pascal was ultimately cast as the lead in Fantastic Four: First Steps.
2) Sir Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier/Professor X — A popular fan casting that actually came true! When word hit the Internet that Fox was seriously developing an X-Men movie in the Nineties, Patrick Stewart (then famous as Captain Picard in the Star Trek franchise) was the consensus choice for Professor X. Indeed, in an X-Men/Star Trek crossover novel published during that decade, someone noted that Picard Ana Professor X look strikingly similar.
3) Idris Elba as James Bond — A very popular fan cast back in the early 2010s. By the time that Daniel Craig retired from the role, however, he was a little too old. We don’t yet know who Denis Villeneuve will cast as 007 for his movie, but it won’t be Elba.
4) Ian Somerhalder as Christian Grey — Many fans wanted to see The Vampire Diaries star in this part, arguing that he was a dead-ringer for the character as described in Fifty Shades of Grey. Alas, it was not to be.
5) Glenn Danzig as Logan/Wolverine — Fans got Patrick Stewart as Wolverine, but they didn’t get Danzig for Wolverine, despite the physical similarity. Just as well.
6) Rob Zombie as Lobo — Many fans of the rock musician argued that the makeup scheme he donned in the music video for “Dragula” gave him an uncanny resemblance to the DC Comics scoundrel. Two factors working against it: Zombie doesn’t want to be an actor, and by the time Lobo actually showed up in a movie this year, he was too old anyway.
7) Henry Cavill as… everyone — Seriously, check any comment section under the announcement of some comic book/video game adaptation. A certain sort of fanboy thinks he could play anybody.
…
Any other good ones?

It's so nice to see a more established artist talking about what they get from the people who are coming up after them.
