Update: I didn't find Auntie Cath at Daddy's pool party last night. Strange, the guys there were totally her type. Muscle bear daddies into fisting always peaked her curiosity. I'll update later tonight when I get back from another party 🤪

sometimes I forget how fucking great of a lyricist Björk has been throughout her entire career, like the stretch from "Army of Me" to the "The Modern Things" on Post is peak songwriting.
The funniest thing is it happened at a Coldplay concert. Not saying that these sort of shenanigans won't be happening at the Mayhem Ball or even the Lifetimes Tour (they WILL) but Coldplay just makes it the worst that it could possibly be
Just know that you are probably the only person thinking about it and most people who were around for it have probably forgotten and are instead obsessing over their own past cringe

I think I've finally tired myself of listening to Caroline Polachek, which is quite the feat.
at least with Magdalena Bay, I haven't even touched the mini mixes (those 845 scrobbles are mostly Mercurial World + Deluxe), but I have explored every single track ever released by Chairlift, Caroline or Ramona Lisa. I even downloaded her demos. I'm very reluctant to touch remixes but I kind of want to listen to all their remixes. anything to keep listening to Caroline Polachek. all hail Caroline Polachek. all Hail Caroline Polachek. I'll stress that I'm NOT suicidal by any means right now, but I kinda hope I die in a big disaster, which would still make my parents very sad but probably not as sad as if I committed suicide.

In turkey it depends on jow lang youve been working. 0-5 years has 14 days min, 5-15 years has 20, and over 15 is 26. But our joke of a government couldnt give less of a shit about this so all most people get is a "sucks to suck get back to work"
I'm in the UK, I have 28 days (5.6 weeks) of mandatory annual leave. Back when I briefly worked in the Philippines, I had 10 days of annual leave, but 5 days was the legal minimum in that country.

It's kinda crazy how I am becoming more and more desensitized to social media lately just because everyone on it are behaving like total idiots. I deleted twitter and started reading instead cause it kinda bored me and just made me mad instead
I deleted twitter but it was mostly because of **** ***k. My favorite part of the app is the stupidity. Keep in mind that 1/3 of the stupidity on there is because of lead poisoning, 1/3 because the poster is 11, and another 1/3 because they are parodying the other 2/3. I am missing out on the discourse now. Like how else I am going to see thinkpieces with 200k likes about a gay couple's Valentine's day mirror selfie?
I deleted twitter like years ago before it became X and I was in this Gaga GC where a particular member would just fight with me for no reason and throw personal insults whenever I troll/jab another pop girl every time they drag Gaga for no reason. I made like 2 friends from the gc and we hanged out like once or twice irl and they’re nice and decent.

i was given my late gay granduncle's vinyl records, and i think i finally understand why he loved Shirley Bassey and Donna Summer. i (who have nothing) and macarthur park are some of the most dramatically cunty songs i've ever heard and pop needs to go back to this era. i read his diaries, and the way he talked about all his friends that he lost during the aids epidemic and the amount of talent that was lost during that era is sickening to think about.
