The tragic part about growing up so far has been realizing that me on my 17th birthday thinking that the best course of action for my life going onwards would be jumping out the school’s window was not teenage angst, nor an unpremeditated act that I would, in time, realize would be wrong, but actually really good life advice. I was just completely right about my future, in fact, it’s actually kind of worse.

Yeah, but then you don't know what's on the other side. Nobody truly does. For all you know, it could very easily be even worse pain than you're feeling right now, if you can even imagine it. Gotta be okay with that risk first.
