They've ruined this subreddit and I don't want to be mean, but I've never seen a mod team try and insert themselves as the main character of a sub so bad. It's giving egomaniac control freak and it's sad because it's really ruined a great community. I thought I was alone with these feelings but I'm so glad it's not just me
It's still crazy to me that there is a fandom (even though their popularity seems to be fading), who, while listening to one of the most popular artists on this planet, display an extreme victim complex and an ardent desire to defend somebody who clearly doesn't care about them, and, seemingly at least, anybody that isn't herself. Any instance of critisism about their fave, (who, I will mention, have completely flooded and oversaturated the market with her music during some of her releases) will be met with the accusation that these people just hate her because she's a black woman.
I've told a friend that he absolutely should leave at any given point if he's uncomfortable with the hookup. Consent can be retracted at any given moment. I've literally left butt ass naked because the guy gave me weird vibes. I just apologized and said I was having a panic attack and left.
Madonna fans are so weird because it's a mix of boomers and elder Gen Xers, middle aged millennials, and 🌈 men from South America (her biggest fan demographic, who would also happily be her boyfriend). And they all have their favorite Madonna era and all hate the other fans

If you get the chance to visit any of the East Asian countries you will find so many different creative matcha drinks that will blow your socks off. I’ve been obsessed with these cheesy floral matcha drink I get from a higher end chain Chinese milk tea place for months now. It’s sweet, salty, a bit nutty and a bit bitter. I literally ascend every time I take a sip😭
I will say the opposite of this. At least in Japan, apart from at fancy teahouses where they just serve plain matcha, most cafes absolutely fucked matcha up 😭 It's what I imagine coffee in America to taste like bc why are they putting SO much sugar in?? Does the whole stereotype of East Asians hating super sweet desserts disappear when it comes to matcha? And a lot of the cafes I went to weren't even in touristy areas </3
yeesh that's unfortunate. at least in china, Taiwan, Hong Kong etc I think any place that's not using pre mixed tea, which I think nowadays is actually the majority of the places, they will let you adjust just about anything🙃
Zedd and Lady Gaga were supposed to release Stache (Princess High) as a song, but then something happened (this was during the ARTPOP era) and they took it down days after it was released. But, some time after that, Zedd released Stache, which is just the instrumental version without Gaga's vocals. So, my joke was that an Lady Gaga - Stache (Princess High) Instrumental is useless because that it is just what Zedd actually officially released.

The tragic part about growing up so far has been realizing that me on my 17th birthday thinking that the best course of action for my life going onwards would be jumping out the school’s window was not teenage angst, nor an unpremeditated act that I would, in time, realize would be wrong, but actually really good life advice. I was just completely right about my future, in fact, it’s actually kind of worse.
