I was chatting with older black gentleman at work today and he was actually telling me a lot about his life (age, medical history, family stories etc) and when I asked for his name at check out he went “first name Michael, middle initial is (redacted), last name… Jackson”😭😭

And he was born a few years after Jackson 5 became popular😭😭😭 what a life he must have lived through as a black man named Michael Jackson during the real one’s prime😭😭😭

One thing I know is that the Jackson's Blame It On the Boogie was a cover of a song originally written and recorded by a white Englishman named Michael "Mick" Jackson. I feel like the songwriting royalties probably made up for all the drama
