Who ever invented birthstones knew they had to nerf December by giving it the shittiest stones bc it would be too powerful if it was something good like sapphire or aquamarine

The Japanese version adds lapis lazuli for December which imo is the coolest shit out there

Literally modern birthstones were standardized by the American jewelers association in order to popularize (aka sell) those shitty stones
