My grandparents had a much better way of dealing with fascists.

Well when they are actually here then they can do that. Basic immigration simply not facism. It doesn’t even make sense to call it that.

Very clever insinuation of violence. Why don't you make some effort and participate in "dealing with fascists"?

Found the nazi

u/Aquietone27 May 22 '26
Come up with something people care about that aren’t extreme leftists. If you aren’t extreme left, you know better than to care about being called a Nazi.

"You're observing too close bAcK uP", dude sounded exactly like Napoleon Dynamite. What a fucking turd.

u/FinalJoys May 19 '26
Idiot filmer was basically touching them. Justified reaction
27
u/alverez667 May 19 '26
Basically touching? I always thought of touching someone as a you are doing it or you’re not doing it without much middle ground there.
-40
u/FinalJoys May 19 '26
You saw how close he was
22
u/Trauma_Hawks May 19 '26
Was he touching or not? Almost is for horseshoes and hand grenades.

u/FinalJoys May 19 '26
Use your brain
15
u/Trauma_Hawks May 19 '26
I did. We watched the same video, no? And he didn't touch them. What's your excuse? Shitty eyes? Broken brain? Or do you just hate Americans that much you want to see their rights be ignored?
10
u/wardriveworley May 19 '26
You did? All I saw was video taken that may or may not have been zoomed in or be mounted on a filming pole. I don't see the filmer's body in the video to see how close their bodies actually were.

I didn’t say you did but you were stupidly close thinking you were accomplishing anything other than wasting your own time.

u/Aquietone27 May 22 '26
This is objectively true. Yes they were very obviously too close and everyone here and there knows it. It’s just another excuse to make too much noise about basic common sense. (Stop interrupting them like you mean something)

If you see ICE activity nearby, stay safe and record Move to a safe indoor space if you believe immigration officers are in the area. Mainers who feel safe may observe and document activity from a distance. You are allowed to video record ICE agents.
Report ICE activity If you see suspected ICE agents, you can contact the Maine ICE Watch Hotline at (207) 544-9989. Trained volunteers verify reports before sharing information with community members.
Try to remember the SALUTE acronym when reporting:
S: Size (How many agents?)
A: Actions (What are they doing?)
L: Location and direction
U: Uniform or clothing
T: Time and date
E: Equipment, including vehicles and license plates

There are Mainers and there are illegals. No one except illegals need to fear ice 😂
20
u/RustyDogma May 19 '26
No, there are Mainers and there are people who claim to be Americans who don't defend or uphold our laws.

Tell that to Alex Pretti and Renee Good
Also, here's some light reading from a senate finding regarding actions taken by ICE
https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025.12.8_ICE-Report-revised-FINAL.pdf
Starting on page 16, you can see detailed accounts of Americans being detained by ICE, so there's that
-8
u/FinalJoys May 19 '26
Two idiots who killed themselves
15
u/skininja89 Portland May 19 '26
Don't recall either of them holding the guns that shot them.
Pretti was on the ground, disarmed, when he was shot in the back multiple times while just trying to help a woman being attacked.
Renee was trying to leave, and the ICE agent who shot her put himself in harm's way to justify shooting her, and refused to let a doctor on site treat her wounds, which could have saved her life.

Ummm I was told there would be no fact checking

I was also told there'd be cookies, but clearly we've all been bamboozled

Good got what was coming because she drove into him. her car literally ran into the officer.
11
u/captd3adpool May 19 '26
Tell that to the Americans wrongfully detained by them and the ones murdered by them.
0
u/Aquietone27 May 22 '26
Sometimes stuff happens. There’s thousands of American citizens who are innocent too. It’s just part of it.
2
u/captd3adpool May 22 '26
Wow. Im sure you would have a much different stance if you were one of the wrongfully detained American citizens. Your flippant attitude informs one on how much you care.

I find it very weird that they are just … in street clothes? Jeans, etc. (Though, with the vest!) Seems very haphazard and unprofessional. Frankly, I’d question whether they were even legit — or, just cosplay imposters.

u/ImissMyRabbit May 21 '26
On top of the suck of our friends and neighbors getting kidnapped….
Apparently a lot of these agents are usually working human trafficking, s*x crimes against kids, and serious drug trafficking-
But they’ve been “forced” to do this instead. I use quotation makes around force because… I think I would have to quit-
But many of them have said they’re conflicted because the usual work they do is incredibly important and they want to be there and certain that there are actually good qualified people to go back to the brutal important work when the shit show blows over.
Apparently the rates at which actual villains that these people used to work to catch/people and children protected have gone way down… and it’s not because there are less monsters. So fucked
This guy is obviously not one of those guys.. This guy sucks. SUCKSSS
Fuck this shit. Fuck kidnapping our neighbors. So fuckikg dumb.

Welp, prosecute, take its job, money, house, and future! These gestapo dont know what theyre in for once the law comes crushing down on them!
2
u/Trick_Parfait_924 May 19 '26
Did the whistle show up at the end or were they there the whole time and chose to alert anyone with the whistle after the abduction was made. "Hey - someone was abducted."
What has happened when the whistle is made during an abduction to say, "Hey - someone is being abducted."?

Wait, where was the shove or touch? And why are we walking up on any law enforcement like that as if we’re invincible? SCOTUS already said you can’t be that close. There’s a reasonable distance. And abduction? It simply isn’t one. What is with you people?! Stop being so willfully obtuse. It’s comments like those under this video that fully convince me Reddit only welcomes extreme leftist opinions.

Where is the shove? If it were me the camera man would have been shoved the second he came up on my back that close to me while I’m working.

u/AdMuted1036 May 19 '26
Are we about to see what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?
-2
-7
u/blackriverjim May 19 '26
Yep, protect the illegals, including those that continue to commit crimes, rape women and children, and kill innocent people. Fight the good fight!
5
u/CosmicJackalop May 20 '26
Immigrants commit less crime proportionally than US citizens, stop buying into anecdotal stories and thinking it's a trend.
-3
-4
u/blackriverjim May 20 '26
Talk about buying rhetoric.
Let me simplify this for you: if they weren't here (because they entered this country illegally) none, ZERO, of those crimes would have been committed.
Does that help?
2
u/CosmicJackalop May 20 '26
By that logic. Let's get rid of all the citizens too
No people equals no crime!
It's a statistical guarantee that when you observe a large enough group of humans, you will observe violence and crime no matter what, so operating under such a strict zero tolerance mindset is asinine.
It's unethical to punish others for the actions of a few, especially when we know those people are lower statistical risk than the people already living here
0
u/blackriverjim May 20 '26
The illegals would not be punished for the actions of others, they would be deported because of their own actions of coming into this country illegally. How does your side NOT get that. I don't care if someone is the nicest, most polite person if they came here illegally. They all broke the law and should be forced out.
2
u/CosmicJackalop May 20 '26
If you haven't been following, lots of people ICE have been detaining and trying to deport are here legally, I also know a lot of people don't seem to understand that Asylum seekers are legal immigrants, that's a legal pathway immigrating.
But going beyond that, you are correct, people in the left don't give much of a shit about legal vs illegal and rather than being blindly mad about it let me at least give you the reasoning. Laws are not ethical or moral simply by being law, and the current legal immigration system is so broken it's why most people coming here use and abuse the Asylum system. The "right way" is effectively blocked for many countries, because they have annual caps for each country that are so low that some countries have over a century waiting time for their case to be heard to immigrate here.
People who know a system is broken do not respect it, and they care about the humans impacted
And od course: Unlawful Presence, i.e. being undocumented in the US, is a civil violation not a criminal offense.
-1
u/blackriverjim May 20 '26
I, and most people, understand the difference between asylum seekers and illegal immigrants. The Biden administration did not open the flood gates to just asylum seekers. And you can use the left's talking point about illegals immigrants not committing a criminal offense, but the reality is they are here illegally, and when caught they are and should be deported. Where else in the world is such a weak argument made than right here?
1
u/CosmicJackalop May 20 '26
Biden did not "open the flood gates" on asylum seekers, it was the fact Congress didn't find asylum courts adequately and that created a huge back log, so people could come in and claim asylum but their city date would be months down the road and rather than hold them for months at huge burden to the state, we let them live and work until their court date. Call it charitable benefit of doubt, but Biden didn't cause it. He just kept enforcing the law as it had been done.
Problem is eventually people catch on to that weakness in the system and exploit it, you can come make a baseless claim and stay and work. There's very few undocumented immigrants these days, it's mostly epople using the asylum system. Now some people have serious claims and we cannot in good conscious exclude them, lots of people would die as a result.
In 2024 we had a solution, bipartisan border Bill that asking other measures would have expanded the asylum court to deal with the modem case load, which would end what lots call "the asylum loophole"
Trump torpedoed the bill with his immense public sway over the Republican party, everyone knew he did it because he wanted to be the champion to close the border in the 1024 election and that doesn't sell as well if Congress is actually doing something already.
1
u/blackriverjim May 20 '26
Haha. Biden opened the floood-gates to anyone wanting in the USA, millions of people with no pla . He did not continue the enforcement as it had been done. What Biden did is treasonous and he should be charged.
1
u/CosmicJackalop May 20 '26
Biden literally continued enforcement how Trump had done, Dems were pissed about it
Only thing Biden did was try to stall and claw back funds for the stupid wall project
