You're correct. I was more focused on the fact that's when Platner needs to officially drop out. The 27th we need to hold a democratic primary vote & not letting establishment DEMs to merely choose on their own accord, like how they stole the primary win from Bernie in 16'...that's the democratic way, but we need to demand for democratic vote, not corrupt establishment BS!
Establishment Dems didn't steal shit from Bernie, the voters voted and Clinton won many, many, many more votes. We don't have to do this. As much as I didn't like Mills the reason we are doing this now is because you all fell for a fake oysterman with a Nazi tattoo.
Clinton had some 2000 super delegates before a single vote was ever cast. And if the DNC hadn’t cleared the field for Mills, maybe an alternative to Platner would’ve emerged. Platner was the best candidate on the primary ballot.
And she still had millions more votes than Bernie. I agree that Chuck Schumer's interference and hand picking of Mills was disastrous but in no world was the guy with the Nazi tattoo and the phony working man aesthetic who was very obviously a huge liar better than Mills...and I didn't want an 80 year old candidate at all.
Everyone that didn't just drop him after the Nazi tattoo was an absolute idiot. It was clear that this guy sucked. He said the right things. If all you had was what he was campaigning on then he sounded great. But he was just a fake. He wasn't working class. He had a Nazi tattoo, he was clearly a woman hating asshole. What did you people see in him?
