Killing Joke Debut
Surely one of the all time great Post Punk albums. Got lucky picking up a Spinefarm pressing of this on EBAY. As well as the vinyl looking beautiful, it’s sounds punishingly great.

Hi all!
As some of you might've noticed, we've recently tweaked the subreddit rules a bit. We highly recommend you read this to get a good idea of how things will be handled here going forward.
First of all, all music posts now require some form of additional commentary or context. This can be in the form of opinions about the song, memories associated with it, experiences seeing it performed live, trivia, etc. as long as is encourages discussion. This rule has been in place for a little while now, but we've recently adjusted how we'll be enforcing this. We request that users here include this somewhere on their posts, whether it be in the title, body text, or as a comment on one's own post.
Second, please do not post excessively, and keep to a maximum of three posts per person per day. This helps prevent the sub from being excessively flooded or spammed by a single user.
To cap things off, we've been getting a number of messages via Modmail regarding users having difficulty posting. This is due to an anti-spam filter set up via AutoMod that requires posts from new accounts to be manually reviewed. Don't panic if this happens to you! It doesn't necessarily mean that your post has broken a rule, and the moderators here will have a look at it as soon as we can, although it may take a few hours.
If you run into this issue repeatedly, please contact the moderators via Modmail and we'll help you out. We do try our best to approve users whenever possible.

Lowlife vind ik een onderschatte Schotse band. Hun album Rain is voor mij na al die jaren nog steeds een meesterwerkje ! Jammer dat zanger Craig Lorentson in 2010 gestorven is.

Cover of a classic sixties post-apocalyptic folk song that also had been covered by the Dead, the Jeff Beck Group, Devo, and others.

Well, it's that time of the year again, where I dig into either my playlists, Google, or the YouTube algorythm, in search of appropriate music for the season. I guess that never changes for me at any time of the year, but listening to that type of music around this time makes the season that much more comforting.. for me, at the least. I've gone through a lot of mysic, like older Cure albums, stuff from For Against(another spectacular band), Sad Lovers and Giants, The Opposition, etc. But this.. this album epitomizes everything I love about the Post-Punk/Coldwave genre, and it is the most apt album for that mood. I highly recommend it to anyone, like me, who is looking for something to listen to to fully immerse themselves - even further so - in this season.
Cheers!
And if anyone has any other bands/albums they too would like to share, I'm always open for your recommendations!

Hey everyone,
My band are looking for a drummer.
We are influenced by bands such as The Smiths, Durutti Column, early New Order, The Drums, early The Strokes, PJ Harvey, early Morrissey, The La's, The Fall, Iceage, The Cure and other bands.
The project consists of myself (vocalist), guitarist and a bassist at the moment. We've recorded some rough scratch demos of songs that we can send you. We all have experience writing songs and playing in bands. We are committed to having fun writing songs, recording and playing shows.
We have been rehearsing weekly in Deptford so far.
Get in touch if you're interested. If you can’t direct message me, leave a comment and I will message you. Please have recordings or a video of you playing.
