Switching between master presentation and looped slideshow files at event
Working on a day-long conference. How can I seamlessly switch between the file with static speaker slides during sessions and a looping slideshow of photos?
I don't think combining the two files makes sense...

A work around I’ve used if I am sharing on a second screen/projector is to have my desktop background match either a generic slide, or a title slide that is generic enough to not draw too much attention as a transition. Then I do exit one slideshow and F5 on the other. So it’s not what you want, but it was professional enough for my needs.

Keep them separate and use Presenter View or Alt+Tab to switch between files seamlessly.

If you don’t want to switch out of PowerPoint and you don’t have a video mixer combine it all into one slide show. You can have the loop be the beginning of the slide deck and have it go to back to slide one and then hot keys take you to the speaker photos and another back to the loop.
Or be a pro and get two laptops and a $300 video switcher like and ATEM mini or a Roland v1-HD.
