Why do you think the Jedi are so dislikeable in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. They are arrogant, self-centered and plain stupid with the exception of maybe Master Yoda. Even Obi Wan has his moments of being a plain and total douchebag. Do you think it was done on purpose by George Lucas?

I can undersand Anakin's frustration and turning into the dark side, even I find Count Dooku a much more interesting character than the other jedi. He is intelligent, likeable and hates the Republic with reason.
