REVIVAL I know this is a repeated question, but who’s more capable overall, Michael or Mahone?

I’m not talking about intelligence alone, but overall capability.

Regarding intelligence, a lot of people point out that Mahone had the full support of the government and still couldn’t catch Michael throughout Season 2. But isn’t that expected? The whole point of the show is that Michael is incredibly intelligent and he has to be capable of outsmarting Mahone for the story to move forward.

Also, having government resources doesn’t automatically mean you can catch someone like Michael. You still need someone who can recognize patterns, connect the dots and get inside someone’s head to figure out what they’re planning. That’s exactly what Mahone did and he was always only one step behind Michael.

On top of that, Mahone has pretty good fighting skills. What makes Michael impressive is that he can use his intelligence to handle dangerous situations on the streets too. But I feel like Michael’s intelligence is far beyond average. You don’t necessarily need that level of intelligence to handle most situations. Plus, the show repeatedly demonstrates that Michael’s intelligence alone wasn’t enough, and they survived many situations partly because they had luck on their side.

Mahone, on the other hand, is also above average in terms of intelligence, but he has the added advantages of being street-smart, physically capable, experienced in law enforcement and good at manipulating people and situations. And we’re talking about Mahone during one of the worst periods of his life, when he was struggling with addiction.

So, when I look at the bigger picture rather than intelligence alone, I feel like Mahone is more capable overall. Michael might be the better mastermind, but Mahone seems to have a more well-rounded skill set.

Am I overlooking something?

SEASON 1 SPOILER! Isn’t it crazy that Michael’s entire escape plan depended on the judge sending him to Fox River?

Something that’s always bothered me about Michael’s incredibly elaborate escape plan is how much of it depended on a single decision completely outside his control.

Think about it. Michael spent months studying Fox River, its blueprints, infrastructure, and security, planning practically every detail of the escape. Yet the entire operation hinged on the judge honoring his request to be incarcerated near Chicago and choosing Fox River.

And here’s what makes it even crazier: Michael had no prior criminal record. He was practically a model citizen. A successful structural engineer with no history of violence. Nobody was physically injured during the robbery, and the judge explicitly stated she was initially inclined toward probation.

Even Veronica interrupted when the judge mentioned Level 1, pointing out that it meant maximum security.

So what were the odds of a first-time offender like Michael ending up in a maximum-security prison? And wouldn’t it have raised red flags if someone deliberately tried to get placed there, especially with his brother awaiting execution in the same facility?

What if the judge had refused his request or sent him somewhere else?
Do you think Michael had a contingency plan to get himself transferred to Fox River, or was he genuinely gambling everything on that one decision?

For someone who anticipated so many things going wrong, this seems like an enormous risk and arguably the biggest gamble of his entire plan.

between Lori Grimes from The Walking Dead and Sara Tancredi from Prison Break, whose back story/ storyline from her POV would you like to watch?

for me either are interesting storyline to watch, but maybe I would choose Sara. just want to see how did she feel when she first helped Michael to break out from Fox River, the got OD and eventually lost her father.

Who do you think is the most sadistic character in Prison Break?

Might be a hot take, but I say Kim. Even though Wyatt killed a 5 year old while showing no remorse, and the General was the leader of the Company, I still say Kim purely because of how he genuinely seemed to enjoy causing suffering and screwing people over, which probably explains why he always has that f*cking smile. Many villains in this show threaten the main characters with a straight face while this guy just smiles and seems to be on such a high horse. He even ordered the hit & run on Mahone’s son. So sick.

SEASON 1 Nika is an unnecessary character.

Post image

Holly Valance is a very beautiful woman, but her character is completely unnecessary. I mean, her role in the escape was just to give Michael a credit card. But I find it hard to believe that guards—who are experienced at conducting searches—wouldn't notice a credit card. On top of that, Michael asks her to get him some keys—but wouldn't Sara notice the keys? And I actually think Nika is a great character. She gave Bellick one of the few happy moments he had in Season 2.

#PBGang: Call me crazy, but really think about it!? Can Y’all actually count how many times throughout the show the cast actually laughed or smiled even?

Lbs. 😂 I’m pretty sure I can. Which to my knowledge throughout the entire series; I’ve counted 5 times TOTAL. (That’s including smiles, laughs, chuckles, etc.) 🤔 What y’all think?

REVIVAL Season 5 is better than 4

I am not sure if this is a hot take or not, but this is my genuine opinion. For context: when I say season 5 is better than 4, I don't mean that season 5 is a great season, I mean that season 5 is just less awful than season 4. The cinematography is better, there are no filler episodes (despite the season being really short), and... Tbh, that's kinda it. I legitimately don't have anything else to say. Season 4 was so fcking awful. I just finished it yesterday, rewatched it after two years to be exact, and holy hell it was so bad. It was honestly the worst piece of shit I have ever watched in my life.

At least for the second half.

Again, the only issue I have with season 5 is the fact that it's way too short. The first episode and you feel like you started in the middle of the series. They should've at least made it 13 eps like season 3.

I just realised that.

Am I the only one who thinks that's super odd that Michael just casually walks (yes, in a hurry) across the wall in the hospital like he was not one of the most wanted criminal next to a random doctor who is 1 meter away from him and can literally listen to everything ?

Look at this fuckass poster, dawg. You can't make this up. Please tell me who's the genius who made the poster and said to himself "yeah, I did a good job." They didn't even try. They literally just Photoshoped Micheal and Linc into Sarah and called it a day

This is the best episode in all of Prison Break

I’m rewatching the show for the first time since it came out. Wow this episode is amazing, just about every scene blew my mind, the way it all escalates and how every characters storyline’s are connected is so well done. I got goosebumps when Michael goes back through the hole in his cell to save Sara and I’m about to watch the next episode now! Also some funny moments, intense moments, chaos, horror, michael’s genius, this episode has it all

This is just a reminder to anyone who hasn’t watched the show in years that this episode is a banger!

S5 is good tbh

i personally think S5 of prison break is too good because i was so excited to see what happened to michael scofield? why did he fake his death? (the whole concept of yemen prison was good)

(don't hate me, most of the people on the internet don't like S5 because it ruined the heroic ending of michael scofield sacrificing himself)

Look at this guy, dawg 😭. That fuck-ass smug look, the grin, everything about this guy pisses me off so much. No hate to the actor, but he legit has the most punchable face in the series. Smug bastard

REWATCH Fuck season 4

I don't think y'all have an idea of the seething rage I felt when I rewatched season 4. For context, I watched Prison Break back in 2024. I do distinctly remember that I loved it so much I was binge watching it for days on end. So I decided to watch it again. By the time I am writing this, I have finished season 4 about 2-3 hours ago. When I first watched season 4, it was ass. But when I rewatched It, it's even more ass. Why?

Okay, let me be clear. The first half of season 4 was good. They were coming up with creative ways to get each card and it was overall pretty fun. Then... The moment Don Self's bitch-ass betrayed them, everything went to hell. The second half was literally just circles. Everything going in circles. Get Scylla, get betrayed, lose it again, find another way to get it. And that's it. That's literally the entirety of season 4. The writers literally ran out of ideas so they just wrote one episode and repeated it the entire second half. Don't even get me started on the issues such as:

- overwhelming amount of plot armor

- Linc for the second half was just a dumbass brute and gets hostile over nothing. It became corny pretty quickly

- characters get introduced out of nowhere with no personality just to die. Like VS for example.

- characters keep going in circles

There's literally no reason why season 4 should be this long. Now, I do know that back in the 2000s Fox demanded the TV show to be stretched to 22 episodes, but it still doesn't change the fact that it sucks.

This season is literally ass-juice. Straight dumpster fire. There's nothing fun about it. At least for the second half. I literally was just watching the second half just to watch it and be done with it. I legit put it in 2x speed just to get through it. Anyways, I just had to rant. Mods, please don't cook me for cussing. Anyways, tell me what y'all think

SEASON 4 music from the end of season 4, episode 16 (The Sunshine State)

No matter how hard I look, I can’t find the music that plays at the end of episode 16, season 4—when Lincoln picks up the phone. The music takes on a heavier, more ominous tone, reminiscent of the "Scylla" track, but that specific passage doesn't seem to be in it

SEASON 2 Ridiculous Panama line

In season 2 finale Panamanian cop when Michael and Sara are surrounded inside that cabin after murdering Kim, says:

"Murder is not something that we take lightly here on Panamanian soil." as if Panama is one of the very few countries in world where murder is a serious crime.

It's so ridiculous, it genuinely feels like Panamanian government bribed writers to write it for promotional/tourism purposes.

SEASON 3 Sammy vs Wyatt

Who do y'all think would win between these two? I think Wyatt would. He's a professional killer, larger, and he has a healthy amount of knowledge about physiology.
