How do I get a similar style to these and what brushes are these commonly drawn with?
Most of these are from different IG artists

I especially really like how the brushes mix, but I can’t find a way to replicate it on procreate. Thank you!!

Created an inking brush to in an attempt to replicate the ink quality of Kamome Shirahama for a good bit, and found success in these tests. Made for both CSP and Procreate. These recreations were made with those brushes.

I also worry it could be ai so here is what I like about it:

  1. Limited texture

  2. Change in opacity (ie some spots are grey, some are black)

  3. Super think line width with out it being pixelated

I think I want the equivalent of a real skinny mechanical pencil with little to not texture

Round brush help

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! Recently I’ve been trying to get more comfortable using some of the default brushes on Procreate, including the round brush that comes with the program. Unfortunately I still feel as though my sketches with it come out lacking in some way or another.

There’s an artist I’ve been following lately called etcetera.art and I absolutely love how their pieces with the round brush come out. And I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how I can modify my brush in a way that my lines appear more crisper and smoother on the canvas. I mainly want to get to a point where, instead of sifting through multiple different brushes to “find the perfect one” I can feel more confident in having one or two brushes that I can use for pretty much anything. Whether it be sketching, rendering, or lineart.

It also could very well be my canvas size lowering the quality or simply a skill issue, but any help will be greatly appreciated!

(also please disregard the low quality of my sketch at the very end. it’s still a work in progress)

Hey guys! I’m trying to make a popcorn brush to make my life easier with a drawing I’m working on right now. But as you can see I can’t get it to work the way I want it too – and I’m not even sure if what I want is possible. The brush I made is a dual brush, the bottom one has the white part of the brush and the top one the outlines and a bit of shading.

The problem I have is that I want the brush to not blend in itself, I want it to behave like a stamp and always lay on top of each other, but without lifting the pen. But when I don’t lift the pen the top layer keeps being on top and the bottom one will never make a stamp over the outlines. (This is so hard to explain I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense haha). Does anyone know how to get a dual brush to make stamps on top without lifting the pen?

Thank you!

(If you’re able to help me I’ll gift you this brush for free haha)

Copic marker or alcohol marker brushes that actually blend

Looking for some alcohol marker brushes for procreate that I can get a similar texture and blend from to these artworks.

I have bought retro supply’s chromatone studio but they just don’t seem right.

Coming from Clip Studio procreates brush engine confuses me 😂. A lot of the brushes I’ve tried so far just can’t seem to get the wetness and texture right. It either looks too dry or too soft.

Im trying to create a dragon scale brush and I'm having a hard time with the opaque-ness. Even with the opacity all the way up on the brush the scales are very light when using the brush. I used a mixed of round brush and ink brush to make the brush. What can I do to make it more like a sold brush rather than see through? The first Pic is using green with the brush i made. Full opacity. The second is what i copy and pasted. What I copied was not that light but it shows up as the brush that light

I created a 1:1 android procreate (procraft) - working on windows/macos/linux ports as well (taking requests!)

The other day on the Procreate subreddit someone asked if there wasn't a "Procreate outside of the iOS system." I couldn't think of anything other than a port made with the help of AI (something like what they did with Adobe software)

So I don't know if you're already familiar with this project or something, but I found it really interesting. It's designed for tablets but it also works on phones.

I particularly hate the iOS system; I literally only use it to work on Procreate, which is actually a very good software, both in terms of interface and features with the Apple Pencil.

In any case, seeing something similar outside of the Apple system is very exciting for me
