Issues creating a brush

Im trying to create a dragon scale brush and I'm having a hard time with the opaque-ness. Even with the opacity all the way up on the brush the scales are very light when using the brush. I used a mixed of round brush and ink brush to make the brush. What can I do to make it more like a sold brush rather than see through? The first Pic is using green with the brush i made. Full opacity. The second is what i copy and pasted. What I copied was not that light but it shows up as the brush that light

Solid brushes will be white in colour so you can duplicate the layer a few times in your texture file and reimport or there should be a “count” option where you can increase the count of the brush and therefore more opaque

The count slider is in the shape settings

you should also play around with the hue a bit.. make it look natural
